It is reversed, but I think it has a greater emotional effect.

I think he might have moved actually. He isn't in the same house but I still see him in the hallways at school sometimes. Maybe he has a different number now.Ml08180 wrote:greatMrBowserPuffi wrote:sure.Ml08180 wrote:Oh, I have some bad news bowserpuffi, the theater isn't showing the movie we were going to see on thursday, but they're showing The A-Team, is that okay?

Re: Heard of the Lavender Town and new Japanese Empire?
MrBowserPuffi wrote:So apparently during WWII there was a Japanese group of scientists working for the Empire that was trying to use music to control the masses. The son of one of these scientists decided to continue his father's work and continue studying this. Then he got a job working on a little game called Pokemon in the 90s. He was in charge of the game's music. Anyone here who has played the original Pokemon games knows of a creepy little village called Lavender Town, famous for it's disturbing background song. The first edition versions of Pokemon Red and Green versions released in Japan had a tweak to the Lavender Town song. Nearly 600 kids in Japanese were reported to become addicted to the game, go into violent rampages, and have severe headaches. Then there was another effect. About 75% of the kids affected by the Lavender Town Tune went insane and carved the Japanese characters for "Empire" on themselves, then ended up running away or killing themselves. The man that made the game's music killed himself when his own son was affected and tried to attack some people driving a car down the street at night. The couple got scared and ran him over, he had the characters for "Empire" on his chest. The wife of the employee and mother of the child soon found her husband's files and called Nintendo (creators of Pokemon). Nintendo then changed the sound in the background of Lavender Town and the whole incident didn't gain much media attention. If things had gone a little differently, Pokemon would have brainwashed the children of Japan into revolting against the government to start up an Empire and attack the West again.
The song itself is on Youtube, I would be careful. Only children ages 6-12 showed the symptoms of the Lavender Town Tune, and it only worked on those wearing headphones. Listen if you dare.

Someone seems to have found 4chan's new board, hmm?
Serisously dude, this story is just not true at all and every pokemon fan knows it.
The tune in the original games is exactly the same in Red, Blue and Yellow. I played those games at those ages, as did everyone else I knew. We're all fine.

Yeh. I've seen this crap on the internet for years, and I've seen other make-up crap like it. None of it is real. It's just some loser trying to be funny, then everyone's like "OMG THAT'S REAL!!". But if anyone had any sense would realise that there weren't a crap load of strange deaths in children, otherwise the media would of seen it. The media picks up on every little detail, so mass children hypnosis through a game, that's like media food.

The Lavender Town theme was for the kids. They had something different for the media.
