- Pronouns: Well it shouldn't really be that complicated if you go over my post history but then... why are you searching through my post history? Don't you think you are over complicating something as simple as just referring to me? Why are you like this? Is it just out of boredom? Does your religion require it? You could just assume them and skip all this paragraph, don't worry an eldritch horror won't appear out of nowhere to eat you (or me for that matter) if you get this wrong, the worst that can happen is I ignore you and even in that case you can try again! There shouldn't be that many options anyway so if you get it wrong the first time try again and again. Bottom line is: you just lost a bunch of time reading this paragraph for something as trivial as figuring out how to refer to me when you could just have deduced it which should make you think your life choices so far.

Do you live on Privet Drive? I always thought it was Drury Lane.
Re: Movies [serious]
So one of my favorite animated movies of all time is All Dogs Go To Heaven, and I found a DVD of it for only $7.99 yesterday. I love that flick!

yay and hurrah for tvtropes and all its trope-ish goodness
Re: Movies [serious]
on the way to a city I watched 17 Again, and as much as I hate Zac Efron, he did a pretty good job with it, it was all right imo and I liked the Ned guy and when he went out with the principal
then when we came back I happened to catch Sixteen Candles on television. HILARIOUS, I really loved it, although I think that Sam should have went out with the guy who stole her underpants, but they made up for that by including Young Americans in their soundtrack.

Cool! I love PiP too! Let's say the film is just ducky!
So a few others to consider: Uncle Buck, Dutch, Curly Sue, and Planes, Trains & Automobiles.
He also did the Home Alone and Beethoven movies, and they had commercial success but are rather 'meh' imho. Especially the Beethoven movies - but maybe I saw them when I was a little older which is why I didn't get it.
He also wrote for National Lamoon for a bit. He's the screenwriter for the Chevy Chase Vacation movies. Christmas Vacation is my favorite.
Man...John Hughes is like one of the only celebrities that I ever wanted to meet.

I liked the Home Alone series though I never got into Beethoven (I'm not a dog person).. but I LOVE Vacation, those were absolutely hysterical!

"Hey! If any of you are looking for any last-minute gift ideas for me, I have one. I'd like Frank Shirley, my boss, right here tonight. I want him brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other rich people and I want him brought right here, with a big ribbon on his head, and I want to look him straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, dickless, hopeless, heartless, fat-ass, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey shit he is! Hal-le-lu-jah! Holy shit! Where's the Tylenol?"
