The "Shadow" World

Post by RaigekiOkami » Wed May 04, 2011 12:41 pm

So, I found a site that promotes peace among species, claiming that all the things we've been taught to believe are myth are actually true. I was wondering, was does asdf-ers think of this?

umm..
of what exactly?

"peace among species": good, i wouldn't want people to start a war against giraffes. (Or emus, for that matter, which they did)

"all the things we've been taught to believe are myth are actually true:" what do you mean by this?

How do you know it to be untrue? Because your precious 'science' says so?

Technically, in order for science to prove that they don't exist on Earth, we would need to know everything that was on the entire Earth at a given time and show that none of those things was a vampire, shape shifter, etc. I can put in my input here: No observable supernatural beings exist in my apartment.

However, in order to prove that they do exist, there only has to be one viable example. It seems to me that that's a far easier task. In the absence of such examples, we'll never really know for sure, but it will seem much more likely that they do not exist.

if they don't exist, it's not any easier.
Easy to fake, maybe.

True. If they don't exist, it's impossible. Which is why the lack of viable examples makes them not existing more likely.
