Actually, NVM. I logged out and then back in, and it fixed the problem. Should have tried that before posting this.....

Yeah, there is some bug with setting signatures for the first time, others have complained about that as well.
(Hint: you can delete your own posts (even threads) before there is a new reply, so next time just delete it instead of replying.)
