Dear gamers of asdf,

There is an independent game studio called Wolfire that is really dear to me, because they are awesome, and they are the ones who are making Overgrowth, the ninja rabbit game which is gonna be the most awesome fighting game when they finish it.

A while back they made a new FPS game on a 7-day FPS game jam. "Receiver" is special because it focuses on realistic gun handling, meaning you can (and have to) manipulate handguns in all the ways they are manipulated in real life, not just shoot/reload like in most shooters. And it still is fun! Just a different kind of fun.
I'm asking you to consider voting for it on Steam Greenlight here, because if the game gets greenlit, it's more publicity for them. Voting is just one click, if you're registered on Steam [edit: and apparently you have to have purchased something on steam before, in order to be allowed to vote ].

Also you can buy the game directly from the devs for just 5 bucks here.

So I tried to vote for it and it said I needed an account. So I signed up for an account and then when I voted for it, it said I needed to purchase a game first. Since I am old and the InterWeb confuses and scares me, I'm not sure I can buy a game from this Steam thing just yet.

So I tried to give my vote, but failed. Sorry. I will go stand and face the corner and hang my head in shame.

woah sorry, I didn't know you had to buy something in order to vote..(added this to the post above). i guess it's a way of filtering out people who would register multiple accounts just to vote on their game or something..
thanks for trying anyway no shame in that.

on a semi-related note, i've recently watched a video in which the founder of Valve said things about wanting to make Steam more open in the future, sort of like a platform where anyone could sell their content and recommend and stuff like that.
