I probably discovered this forum around 2007 or so, when I was some kid messing around on a computer out of boredom. It's been at the back of my mind since, but I've finally made an account after several years...

Yeah, I am probably lost. I'm supposed to be an adult, yet I feel like a kid and an adult simultaneously, and at the same time, neither. I feel like I'm some non-entity, and I'm floating and not anchored to any sort of past or proper human communication or connection. It's strange. It's appropriate. Yet, I don't think I've hit rock-bottom; it's more like purgatory than hell. But I think that's how I got here? I had nowhere else to go? But okay, I'll stop with the weird and shit flowery prose.

For the past six years, I have never found a place on the Internet or real life that I've considered a community I really felt that I was a part of. I doubt this will be the place, either. But anyway. How are you all doing? Who are you and how did you get here?

Hello and welcome!

I've been here mostly non-stop since 2007! Yeah, I'm stubborn and apparently quite persistent.
If this indeed is a lost soul congregation, there aren't many lost souls on the internet. Or they are all searching for this place, though it's quite easy to find, especially if you're not looking for anything.

I liked your bittersweet introduction. I too am supposed to be an adult, but I prefer staying a kid. (Adulthood is a trap!)
Anyways, be welcome, and don't be put off by the cobwebs you may find around some of the corners.

"Active" and "dedication" are relative terms, I disappear for months at a time occasionally, but there's something about that blue background that keeps me coming back like a fly to its electrical doom

idk guys I'm pretty sure I'm an adult because I'm getting a small income tax cut here this year and then started thinking about how this would affect government spendings because of the change in federal leadership and things like that so I'm pretty sure I'm an adult
