i never am able to form opinions on anything i watch without outside influence, but i didn't feel like i wasted time, and it was enjoyable. I'll put a bit more review in the spoiler (mostly spoiler free, but not 100%)

Spoiler:  

The pilot was too long, most people think, it was kind of slow. I think it's good they were careful with it. The ending was a literal cliffhanger, which i find amusing, some found it too on-the-nose

The writing was immaculate, so much depth, similarily to futurama. Rewatchability 100% (i've done twice, my brother did too because i showed him). i like the characters and locations and everything. It was very episodic, which i dont like a lot, because i cant get into a show too sitcom-y eventually i lose interest. But throughout the 10-episode 1st season there was some serialization, which they plan to use that same formula, which im fine with. I just need some overarchings plots. Like futurama.

The last three episodes really picked up on the lore. A few themes were a tad repetitive before that, but not hugely problematic (unlike a certain south park's 25th season). The ending makes you want more so bad, lots of things to get answered. I won't spoil it, let's just say everything pays off hugely, but like other shows in this time period (GOT) it justs makes more q's to be a'd.

i thought it was just me, but it's not: i believed that the second season would be coming out in a few months, but we havent got any word on that, and it's assumed it'll be a yearly thing. I could do that, but i really though i'd be getting another decabunch quite soon... the marketing was subpar in that respect.
