- Pronouns: Well it shouldn't really be that complicated if you go over my post history but then... why are you searching through my post history? Don't you think you are over complicating something as simple as just referring to me? Why are you like this? Is it just out of boredom? Does your religion require it? You could just assume them and skip all this paragraph, don't worry an eldritch horror won't appear out of nowhere to eat you (or me for that matter) if you get this wrong, the worst that can happen is I ignore you and even in that case you can try again! There shouldn't be that many options anyway so if you get it wrong the first time try again and again. Bottom line is: you just lost a bunch of time reading this paragraph for something as trivial as figuring out how to refer to me when you could just have deduced it which should make you think your life choices so far.

That's a way to simplify the "learn to code" meme to certain subset of the population used to write clickbait and that don't have jobs anymoreatomtengeralattjaro wrote: ↑Thu Sep 24, 2020 3:36 pmI'm not one for esoteric programming languages, but this one made me laugh:

The other day I was trying to explain to a senior dev why it's bad that the last updated timestamp was in the future. I think I might have also been trying to explain that unix time doesn't have timezones.
this is further evidence that timezones were a mistake and should be abolished.
I recently got pilled on by 5 senior devs in my job only for them to not get to the point of my design and it will be implemented regardless. It was fun though. They understand last updated timestamps shouldn't be on the future though.
Let me write something to scare you: ;

Hello, what games do you play the most? I battlefield only and fifa write what kind of games you play, so I might try to play other games myself
Re: Programming, computers, etc. [Serious]
I also only fifa or battlefield for me are the best games, but I only like games like that
Re: Programming, computers, etc. [Serious]
I only play Gothic II there, other games, now I don't play anymore, I used to play battlefield

Strange that we've got a few new users in a row now with near-identical usernames...
Any funny business going on right now, mods?
(I also said this in the discussion thread, but it's actually more evident here so lemme just CTRL C + CTRL V real quick lmao)

Yeah I'm watching. I'm only like 98.7% sure that they are spammers of some kind, but their usernames/emails/IP addresses don't show up on a blacklist and they haven't started to advertise yet. We'll see. Maybe if we poke them with a stick?
*pokes with stick*
Hi, how are you? Got anything to sell us?

That's moderately funny so I'm leaving that up, but without the link. And you're banned. Next?

idk, might be some "jobs" make you do this kind of thing, if you're despearte to "earn money online", you have to get through antispam measures and such. Which would be kinda sad, but that's just a part of the larger sad thing that is the way the world works today.

My experience with programming summed up pretty nicely
(though it's been spread across a couple languages, like HTML or Python)

I also once tried to make some applications for the phone, it was fun to do, but the effect was not visible, unfortunately, I probably will never try again
