阿冬,
Merry Christmas to you too! I hope you have a wonderful day. I thought you may be happy to know that I believe I have done well on my exams. I have not gotten my marks back yet, though. But, I am confident and pleased with my effort!

bvygvgygvgvghivv,
Nice to meet you! Where are you from? I am from Canada and 阿冬 is from China (this thread was made by him, haha)

I have my final exams coming up and I'm going home for my 19th birthday

He must be from China too (because he replied "Me too", look at my title.)

Time flies, a year has passed, and a few days will be my girlfriend's birthday, (yes, I found a girlfriend, hahahahaha)
I've played all year and I've had a really good result, so I'm going to be proud.
What have you been doing lately?

My English is still terrible though, which makes me a little anxious about next month's English test.
During this time, I went to several cities, among which the meat buns in Xi'an are really fragrant, and the ones I usually eat are not authentic.
I also had a Thai meal, the taste really didn't match my taste, and the Chinese food was still my favorite :D :D :D

Wow! It's so great to hear from you again!
a few days will be my girlfriend's birthday, (yes, I found a girlfriend, hahahahaha)
Congratulations, brother!
I wish you both a happy and successful relationship :-)
Oh, you should be extra good to her on her birthday!
What have you been doing lately?
I am still in university. It is really difficult, but I am committed to finishing my education.
Most of my leisure time is spent playing games online, or writing. I write a lot.
My English is still terrible though, which makes me a little anxious about next month's English test.
I think, as long as you study, you will have done your best and can accept the result :-)
Right now, I am learning some French. It is enjoyable, but difficult. I do not know if I will definitely finish learning.

There was a time I wanted to learn Chinese, it is a very cool language, but I think tonality would be too difficult for me :-(

(apparently in Chinese, the sound 'Ma' can mean either 'Horse' (马) or 'Mother' (妈) depending on the tone you use... I would definitely offend somebody!
During this time, I went to several cities, among which the meat buns in Xi'an are really fragrant, and the ones I usually eat are not authentic.
China is such a big country. I like to study it's geography. Xi'an is the capital of Shaanxi, yes?
Canada (where I live) is also very big, but it is mostly frozen and empty, hahaha.
I also had a Thai meal, the taste really didn't match my taste, and the Chinese food was still my favorite
My mother loves Thai food. She likes the peanut chicken and mango sticky rice. I like the mango sticky rice, but do not like the peanut chicken (I think it is good, but it is too strange to me)

I wish to try more Chinese food. I have only had it a few times, but did not like it - I think because it was very cheap and not authentic food. I don't remember what I had , though... Maybe it was dumplings? Sorry, I can't remember
I also have had egg rolls and spring rolls. I do not know if the ones I had were Chinese recipes, but they are delicious!

I think I want to try a real Sichuan hot pot. I believe it would be very enjoyable! Probably expensive and hard to find, though...

My favorite food is probably Mexican food. It tastes so good! I want to learn to make Mexican food, because beans are much cheaper than meat while also being a great source of protein!

---

I hope to hear from you again soon!
Please don't disappear for a year again, haha

Haha, my college was also difficult, and our class year was the most out of four years in college. Monday to Friday classes are eight o'clock in the morning, and now that the temperature has dropped, it is too painful for me to get up.
I made a lot of interesting things, such as small fans (made with brushless motors, which are very windy and can blow the water out of the faucet).

Chinese is somewhat difficult compared to other languages, and these two words are indeed easy to misunderstand, and we use them to scold :D .

I

My mother loves Thai food. She likes the peanut chicken and mango sticky rice. I like the mango sticky rice, but do not like the peanut chicken (I think it is good, but it is too strange to me)

I wish to try more Chinese food. I have only had it a few times, but did not like it - I think because it was very cheap and not authentic food. I don't remember what I had , though... Maybe it was dumplings? Sorry, I can't remember

I haven't eaten either of them, but I don't have a good impression of Thai food. My girlfriend was next to me and he listened to me talk about these two dishes and she said she wanted to eat them hahahaha

I rarely eat dumplings, and I am generally vegetarian, and the taste of pork dumplings is a little greasy (I don't know what flavor you eat)

I also rarely eat egg rolls and spring rolls, so I don't know what is authentic

The hot pot is really delicious :D :D , but the price is really high. The price is already on the high side with us, and it may be more expensive with you.
We have a very famous chain of hot pot spots, which are famous for their service and clean ingredients, and their name is Haidilao.

I haven't eaten Mexican food, but I've eaten something called a taclo, and it certainly has nothing to do with Mexico. I eat a lot of soy products such as tofu and stinky tofu (I don't know if you've heard of it) and I also need a lot of protein because I work out. However, talking about my girlfriend caused me to run out of money to buy protein powder

I'm really sorry that it took a year to get back to you :cry2:
I didn't mean to, my computer is usually in the lab, because of the competition, usually too busy, I often talk to my girlfriend about you, you are really a very friendly, very funny, very nice person!

Do you have an account for bilibili, where I can share the little things I make and the competitions I participate in :bloodymouth: :bloodymouth:

But for real, do not worry about it. If you are confused, I think one of my earlier replies here tried to explain how to use the website features
That's right! But my geography is very poor, and I don't even know which direction your country is in China
Yay! I was right :-)

Canada is very far west from China. Other side of the map, which actually means it is not as far if you fly to the east (because planet is a sphere)

Here is an illustration I made:

I rarely eat dumplings, and I am generally vegetarian, and the taste of pork dumplings is a little greasy (I don't know what flavor you eat)
I probably did not have pork since I do not like it very much. Maybe I did have it though, and that could be why I did not like it, haha.
I also do not like greasy foods. They make my stomache hurt :cry2:

Actually, I have also been thinking of going vegetarian. I do not like pork or chicken, and beef is too expensive. I still like fish and it is not as expensive as beef, so maybe I will keep eating it (some vegetarians still eat fish, I have heard).
I haven't eaten either of them, but I don't have a good impression of Thai food. My girlfriend was next to me and he listened to me talk about these two dishes and she said she wanted to eat them hahahaha
Hehehe, looks like you have a perfect plan for the next date night together :sunglassesman:
We have a very famous chain of hot pot spots, which are famous for their service and clean ingredients, and their name is Haidilao.
I looked it up, and they exist in my country, how exciting!
I can even visit, they have a store not too far away (two hours, driving by car).
I haven't eaten Mexican food, but I've eaten something called a taclo, and it certainly has nothing to do with Mexico.
Not sure I understand? Do you mean "taco"? Taco is definitely Mexican food :)
Picture of taco:
Image

I like tacos very much. We make our own tacos maybe once every week, haha
I eat a lot of soy products such as tofu and stinky tofu (I don't know if you've heard of it) and I also need a lot of protein because I work out.
I have heard of tofu. I have not tried it, but I might someday :)
Protein is important... I should work out more... I am too sedentary :embarrassed:

Actually, I am very skinny and struggle to gain weight (I have gained muscles before though). My brother and I eat $300 of groceries every week (about 1500 Chinese Yuan) but we are both almost underweight. I think my metabolism is just extremely fast.
However, talking about my girlfriend caused me to run out of money to buy protein powder
Women are expensive! O_O
haha :)
I'm really sorry that it took a year to get back to you :cry2:
I didn't mean to, my computer is usually in the lab, because of the competition, usually too busy, I often talk to my girlfriend about you, you are really a very friendly, very funny, very nice person!
It is totally okay, I was just teasing ❤️

I am honored that you talk about me :D I enjoy talking with you a lot, you are also very friendly and our conversations are so much fun :-)
Do you have an account for bilibili, where I can share the little things I make and the competitions I participate in :bloodymouth: :bloodymouth:
I do not have an account for bilibili (I have heard of the website before, though)
I will look into making an account. I think it should be possible in my country :-)

If I have any success, I will let you know. I am interested to see what you make!
Also, you can also use this website to share videos and images. I can show you how to do that if you would like, I imagine it might be confusing to use this website for you since it is in English, haha

There are some problems with my expression, what I want to express is actually "I don't eat pork dumplings", I am not a vegetarian, I love meat too much

I don't know how to say it, but it's not the same thing as "tacos" because the picture I found was like half a burger, I've eaten something similar, but it was stuffed with barbecued meat and other food, and I liked it

If you are very thin, then you should prioritize carbohydrate supplementation, then protein supplementation, and eat more eggs and milk (I like to drink milk)
My monthly living expenses are $2,000 (I went and searched the current exchange rate, which is about $276)
You need to get out and walk more, the sky outside is beautiful

Damn, that is awful. I didn't think you would do that :cry2:
I should have chosen better words... I'm sorry!
I couldn't see your photo, so I searched and it was really far away
Yes, it is!
Hm... I made the photo on my computer, then I uploaded it to imgur.com, and I shared that link here.
I will try another method, since I remember now that you can't see pictures hosted on that website.
I wonder if I can upload directly from my computer...
There are some problems with my expression, what I want to express is actually "I don't eat pork dumplings", I am not a vegetarian, I love meat too much
Ah, I understand. No worries.
Meat can taste very good. I like fish and beef a lot :-)

I already get a lot of carbohydrates... I will eat more eggs, I think.

Actually, I used to drink about 1.5 gallons of milk every week (equals about 5.5 litres)... However, during the pandemic, I had to pour out a lot of spoiled milk and it was so disgusting that I can no longer drink milk :cry2:
I just found a picture and tried it
I can see your picture! She looks very cool and moody, I also like the style of the lines!

Let me try to do the same thing (it is a picture of a taco):
