sending email is always tricky if you're not one of the big email providers, I guess it may fail on asdf's end sometimes (idk), but I think it's more likely that it ends up in spam.

Are your settings set? In the user control panel, board preferences, notification options, tick the email column for whatever you wish to receive emails for.

edit: there is an option in the admin panel "Notify me on new private messages" that was set to false for you, I dunno why, and I couldn't find which user option that corresponds to. I've set it to true for your account now, just in case that was the issue. But that should only affect private messages and not topic reply notifications.

oh. I'm not sure which is it supposed to be, it's been years since I've used that feature. But it's possible that it just sends one message until you post in that topic again.


edit: btw I've just enabled "feeds" for the forum, if you're old enough to know what those are. It's an "ATOM feed" (no relation), which is just like an RSS feed.
If anyone uses a feed reader, they should be able to subscribe to feeds to either the forum or the topic.
