The bad news, as the goon news will cheer you slightly up and that feeling will stick the longest... But I guess you'll already have heared the good and bad news from your asking friend as he was inpacient enough to not wait on a forum response...

The good news. The good news is always good as long as it's the first news you hear. However, if the bad news is said first and is indeed severe, then the good news could only ever hope to be mediocre news unless it surpasses the bad news, in which case it would have to be great news.

no, see, silly string emits a strange kind of pheremone that only a magical Gnogaloog birdfish can detect.
The Birdfish then locates the string, and then eats it while performing a rain dance that makes fish materialise on the moon, and thats why my school has some grass near the edge of the cliff.

well, i think silly string might excite the erisians, although that takes around 8 light hours to get there, providing that the erisians have advanced radio/lightwave/camera technology and a transmitter that can send it back 3 hours to when my face got wet by the extincting dodo's electronic transmittions, so that the erisians get to eat the cheesy apple provided by the moons craters, so the earth's atmoshpere gets more atmospheric, until mt. st. helens erupts and makes my friend's dad's former roomate cry, making the waterlevel rise and flood richmond making there grass on my friend's backyard lawn so my dog gets to eat the silly string!
