He's the "Rent is Too Damn High" guy! He ran for Governor of New York State, and created his own political party on the ballot (the "Rent is Too Damn High Party").

I can see his point, though. Mortgage payments on a nice house in some states would be comparable to the rent of a 1-bedroom apartment here.

I could always move somewhere where rent is lower, too (except that it's one of the least expensive places within close proximity to work).
