Artichokes, too. Doesn't stop me from eating either of them. (Well, I don't eat pomegranates much, but I figure that's more because my wife doesn't really like them.)

Nah, telephones are legit scary as hell. You're talking to someone, potentially a stranger, and you don't even see their face. That's creepy. It's just an inferior form of communication. And at any moment they might misunderstand you or straight up ask you to repeat what you just said because they're on a bus or something. It's just wrong.
