I bet it could sell for a million dollars!
Hm... but what if we sell it not in cash or stocks, but as NFTs?
I don't understand this sentence, is it to imagine what this website can do?
It's got layers.

Explaining a joke generally ruins the joke, so I'll put it in a spoiler tag:
Spoiler:
A while ago, 'imagine ___' was used as a sort of veiled insult over the internet. I do not know why it became popular, but whatever.

The fundamental idea is that remarking 'Imagine using asdf forums' is kind of like saying 'Imagine how lame it would be to use asdf forums'. In case it's not clear from a machine transltion, the definition of lame I am using is colloquial and is used to mean a similar thing to "uncool", "unpopular", "embarassing", or "cringeworthy"

The second layer to this is the main reason this is funny, rather than being a simple jab at everyone using the site. It is that I am posting this on asdf forums, after being a user for many years. Thus, I am also insulting myself indirectly, which comes off as goofy, clumsy and (hopefully) endearing

It also makes it clear that I am not being serious, because given my activity it is very clear I have a positive opinion on this site.

Sorry for being longwinded, I couldn't find a shorter way to write all that out
Also, am I the first time to enter this web site Chinese? :D
I haven't been here the longest out of everyone, but from the time I've been here (a lovely few years) you are definitely the first in my memory!

Then again, this is the internet, anybody could be virtually anything and it's all (mostly) anonymous

Wait... Maybe Evai has been chinese all along??? O_O O_O O_O
Wow, it's really possible O_O O_O

I really want to know about Canada: for example, are there any interesting things, some customs, and some beautiful scenery :D :D

We have a time difference of ten hours. I'm just noon now, and it's late at night in Canada

I'd love to share some stuff, and am also interested to learn from you!

It's 1:30 am right now (I'm in eastern Canada, it's a large country so it's got quite a few time zones) so I will have to only list a few things, so that I can wake up at a somewhat reasonable time tomorrow.

For interesting things, I find it kind of funny how (to my knowledge) we are the only country that packages our milk in plastic bags. Apparently, everyone else uses various forms of cartons. Just some mundane trivia.

One other it of trivia is that we have Tim Hortons (a chain restaurant) basically everywhere. It's almost a national symbol. I don't drink coffee, but most Canadians aggressively posit that they make it the best. Including my mum, LOL

For customs, I am not totally sure. I live in a secular household, so I do not participate in many religious customs. Maybe I will just list a couple social ettiquettes that maybe count as customs. It is rude to wear a hat or hood indoors (I don't know why, but I always take it off to be polite and because it gets too hot anyway). Hmm... that's actually all I can think of right now. I haven't been outside much in the last couple years, so I'm definitely just forgetting some stuff.

Oh, I don't know if this counts as a custom and you probably know about it already, but English doesn't really have a politeness and formality system in it's grammar. It does have titles like 'mister', 'miss', 'sir' or 'maam' and too much slang or cursing is a taboo in formal environments. I thought maybe this counts as a custom because it affects the way we interact with each other.

For beautiful scenery, I will say I live in a smaller city near Toronto (largest city in Canada - not the Capital though), so there is not really much natural beauty. We do have a lot of beaches though, and a couple parks. I've never managed to appreciate them though, because the parks have colorful playgrounds sprawled everywhere for the little kids to play on (which obstructs nature quite a bit), and the beaches are always too crowded with people to feel truly serene. I do like the beach though, it is quite refreshing (even though I cannot swim, which is actually a skill most Canadians have since childhood given the amoung of water in our country. I just never learned, probably due to fear or trauma)

I know for a fact that BC (one of our provinces) has some extremely beautiful natural scenery (if I recall correctly, part of the Rocky Mountains stretches western Canada) but I don't know if I will ever visit. If you ever visit Canada, that is the best for rural sightseeing. If you want to see cool buildings, Toronto is probably the place.

This came out a lot longer than I thought it would. Sorry if it's a lot to read ha ha. I'll try and think of some more interesting stuff another time, when I am less sleepy!

During our evening self-study, my English teacher saw your reply. She said it was a wonderful thing to meet a group of interesting and enthusiastic people online. It feels very good.

In fact, I don't know much about foreign affairs. This is the first time I chat with people from other countries. I'm very lucky to meet someone as enthusiastic as you. I am very grateful that someone will reply to my post

Although the milk in our country is packed in cartons, the quality of the milk in cartons drunk in cities is not very good, and it is a little thin like water. It is said that milk in other countries can be thick enough to hang on the cup wall.

I live in the inland of China, a little far from the sea, so I have only seen the sea once. It was last summer, when I lived in a folk custom by the sea (there will be people leaving unused rooms near tourist attractions for tourists). I got up alone at 3:30 a.m. to wait for the sunrise. As a result, it rained around 5 o'clock, and the wind was strong, and the umbrella I brought in advance was blown out. So I didn't see the sunrise that day, but I saw a very beautiful sunset in the evening.
I really want to go to the seaside to watch the sunrise again

I haven't been to other countries. I'll visit them if I have the chance.

What you said is something I haven't heard of. It's very interesting to read. Thank you again for sharing all this with me
In addition, you need to go to bed early for your health.

I agree :) Your teacher sounds very supportive!

one of the many things I like about this website is that occasionally people from other countries visit here, and I always enjoy talking with them. I feel like it widens my understanding of the world, beyond the borders of my homeland.
In fact, I don't know much about foreign affairs. This is the first time I chat with people from other countries. I'm very lucky to meet someone as enthusiastic as you. I am very grateful that someone will reply to my post
You're very welcome!

I don't know if you have access to it, but there may be some services near you that offer a 'pen pal' program. I have vague memories of that being available in my school, back when I was very young. In case you are not familiar with the term, it is basically when two students from different countries exchange letters. I do not know a lot about this, but I believe it is meant to help learn about language and culture.

From what I have heard, it is widely considered a good opportunity. Another similar possibility offered by some schools is being an 'exchange student'. I have only heard positive things about that as well!
Although the milk in our country is packed in cartons, the quality of the milk in cartons drunk in cities is not very good, and it is a little thin like water. It is said that milk in other countries can be thick enough to hang on the cup wall.
:cry2: I truly dislike the taste of watery milk. Most milk in canada comes from cows, but it comes in a few different varieties (such as skim, 1% or 2%).

I do not think your last sentence translated well. I am not sure what a 'cup wall' is, or if it is meant as an idiom.

You actually have me beat! I have never seen the sea, since I do not quite live on the coast.

It is quite unlucky that you got drenched by the rain and so missed the sunrise, but I do think it is nice that you got to see the sunset by the sea. It sounds very peaceful. I applaud your optimistic attitude :-)
I haven't been to other countries. I'll visit them if I have the chance.
My mother really likes to travel, but I am hesitant because it sounds a little stressful to be very far from home.

However, I do really like learning about new places (especially the amazing food, ha ha ha) so I have been considering what places I would visit if I had the time and money. If somebody wanted to visit China, where would you recommend they travel to?
In addition, you need to go to bed early for your health.
That's true. Thank you for the concern.

I woke up just before dinner time today :mad2: I need to get back onto schedule, because I will be starting university soon, and it is really difficult and unpleasant to have to study hard while tired. I made that mistake a lot in public school, and so I will try to fix it.

Sometimes, I have sleep problems. I am taking light medication for it though, so it should be okay.

It's true. Chatting with people from different countries can tell a lot of interesting things. So my teacher also supports me to do so

I don't know much about the exchange of letters between different countries, but we chat here every day, which should be regarded as "online pen pal" hahaha :D :D .

I haven't drunk buffalo milk, but I mean that two major manufacturers of milk products in our country have monopolized it. The concentration of milk is very low‘ Hanging on the wall 'means that the milk can be hung on the inner side of the glass and slip slowly, with a high concentration. It's not an idiom. Most idioms in our country are difficult to understand (some idioms have extended meanings according to the scene). Sorry, it may not be easy to understand :o
To tell the truth, my English is really poor. I can put forward some poor translations, and I will reinterpret them with you.

It's very comfortable to sit by the sea alone and blow the wind quietly.
It's really nice to see the sunset. If the website allows me to send photos, I can share them with you

It really doesn't feel good to be far away from home. Many places are too strange.
If you go to China, the most famous ones should be Beijing and the Great Wall. However, I recommend Xi'an and the border town (formerly known as Chadong town) described by a Chinese writer named Shen Congwen. Because of this writer, it was renamed as border town.

Xi'an has a long history and culture, and there are many delicacies. While the border towns have beautiful scenery, staying there will make people feel very quiet and relaxed. The air quality is also very good.

I really like walking outside with an umbrella on rainy days. I feel quiet and comfortable

China has a lot of delicious food, and each region has its own unique food and different tastes. Some places like spicy food, some places like light soup, and so on.

I won't go to college until next year, so I should be younger than you.
If you go to school, you still need to maintain good work and rest habits. I believe you can do it. Come on!

If you have sleep problems, it is recommended to exercise more. I had some sleep problems before, so I took some melatonin, but now I try to live a full day. In this way, you will have a better sleep at night.

In the past two days, I began to pack my bags and go home, but the problem of covid-19 is still very serious, so I replied a little later. I'm sorry. :cry2:

I haven't drunk buffalo milk
I've also never drunk buffalo milk ... lmao

Hmm... In English, 'cow's and 'buffalo's refer to two different animals. Pics for reference:
Spoiler:
Image

This is a cow. It's a type of bovine.

Specifically, the one in this image looks to be a Holstein cow.

Male cows are called 'bulls'

Image

These three guys are all called buffalos, but are actually different creatures. Though, they share a taxonomic family with cows (they are bovines too)

The top one is a water buffalo, which is generally found in Asia

The middle one is a bison, which is generally found in the Americas. Most species of it have gone extinct

The bottom one is an african bison, which is generally found in Africa (kind of obvious, given the name). I think they are sometimes also called cape buffalo.
Hanging on the wall 'means that the milk can be hung on the inner side of the glass and slip slowly, with a high concentration.
Wow, that would be almost a cream. I know we have that hear, but it's for cooking not direct consumption (unless you want a stomach ache, I guess)
To tell the truth, my English is really poor. I can put forward some poor translations, and I will reinterpret them with you.
Please feel free to ask for clarification on anything you don't understand.

I will be doing the same.

You can definitely post pictures, but I don't know if there are any rules about identifying information (like selfies or whatever)
I never post pictures of myself or people I know, so I never thought to ask until now.

If you have any trouble with the software, I recommend using imgur.com to host your files. Just upload it straight from your computer or from the cloud, and then generate the link which you can directly post here. Be careful to not make a post on that website, but instead just upload the image, otherwise it will be public.

If that sounds unappealing for whatever reason, there are probably a load of other ways to post images here, but that's the one I use.
It really doesn't feel good to be far away from home. Many places are too strange.
I know how you feel. I think it's all a matter of what someone is used to, and what is comfortable or uncomfortable.
If you go to China, the most famous ones should be Beijing and the Great Wall. However, I recommend Xi'an and the border town (formerly known as Chadong town) described by a Chinese writer named Shen Congwen. Because of this writer, it was renamed as border town.

That sounds like a very pleasant place! I bet I even might like that place more than the more famous locations!
China has a lot of delicious food, and each region has its own unique food and different tastes. Some places like spicy food, some places like light soup, and so on.
I wonder if it would be possible to do a foodie tour... if somebody has already done it, that would be very entertaining

To me, the most unfortunate thing about trying foreign foods is that sometimes your body is not used to certain ingredients, combinations or cooking methods, and so you may not be able to eat a dish even if it tastes excellent.

I think I would probably have troubled with seafood, since I have not eaten much of it. It's very expensive where I live, and the variety is scarce.
I won't go to college until next year, so I should be younger than you.
If you go to school, you still need to maintain good work and rest habits. I believe you can do it. Come on!
I'm 19. More specifically, I'm turning 20 in five months (my birthday is right near the end of the year, which causes some awkwardness).

I believe that you may be familiar with the Gregorian calendar, as it is probably used in China quite a bit. So, there should be no discrepancies in our communication.

The funny thing about how we count age is that 19 years old, means that you were born, then lived a year before turning 'one', and then another year before turning 'two' - et cetera. Thus, even though I am just 19, I am already living my 20th year.

Thank you for the encouragement <3
If you have sleep problems, it is recommended to exercise more. I had some sleep problems before, so I took some melatonin, but now I try to live a full day. In this way, you will have a better sleep at night.
That is very similar to my experience! I also take melatonin, and have started to exercise (I was out of shape, and that made me feel a little bad about myself) and I find that both help significantly.

I think my sleep problems are acting up because I am still growing, so the melatonin needs to be increased. Also, I sometimes suffer from some anxiety, which I think is returning because of planning for entrance to university. Still, I am very excited to go there.
In the past two days, I began to pack my bags and go home, but the problem of covid-19 is still very serious, so I replied a little later. I'm sorry. :cry2:
Please don't worry about it! Given our time difference, I do not even notice.

Also, I applaud you taking the time for the proper precautions to keep yourself and others safe. I know it can be a real hassle, as me and my family have been self-isolating for a couple years now. It was really hard for my mental health last year, but I have gotten better as we begin to step out more and I take better care of myself while alone indoors.

If I can ask, were you on a trip or vacation somewhere? Also, when you go home, will we still be able to continue talking?

Regardless, I am very happy to have had this experience up until now.

Until now, I found that this button can be clicked! I'm sorry, the previous "show" hasn't been opened until now. Thank you for your science popularization! It let me know a lot of things I haven't touched. You must be a very patient person.

But I can't seem to see the photos in imgur. When I enter the imgur website, there will be a connection failure. Sorry, I haven't found a way to solve this problem.

It does sound like cream, but milk is the raw material for making cream. There are still some differences. Most boxed milk in China has additives, such as water. It's not pure milk, so it's not very thick.
I'm not very good at explaining. It may cause trouble to you. If you'd like to listen, I'd be happy to explain it bit by bit.

No problem, that's good. I want to try to write a paragraph without translation software. But in order not to make a joke, I still learned enough words before trying to do so.

Imgur's method seems to be useless in our country. I will try some other methods.

It sounds good to try different delicacies in other countries! It's really interesting.
Yes, that sounds too regrettable!
Where I live, seafood is also very expensive, which is the same with us.

My birthday is at the beginning of next year, when I will just be an adult

Indeed, in daily life, we all use the Gregorian calendar to calculate the date. But some traditional festivals, such as the Spring Festival. We use the lunar calendar to calculate. It can be said that we use both the Gregorian calendar and the lunar calendar. So don't worry about this.

We have the saying of virtual age. The principle is to be one year old at birth, and then add one year old at the new year. This is often used in rural areas because the calculation is simple but inaccurate.
The more commonly used is one year old. The past one year after birth is one year old. This algorithm is more accurate.

I don't go out often in recent years, so I also have some physical problems. It's best to take time out for a walk, which is very helpful to your mood.
When do you start school? It's strange and exciting to go to a new place. But it's a strange place after all, so it's normal to feel anxious. Please take it easy.

You can try to learn how to cook delicious food by yourself. It's great to eat your own cooking.

I go to school 300 kilometers away from home, so I need to take the high-speed rail for a period of time every time I go home. The high-speed railway in our country is very perfect, so the actual time spent on the road is not very long.

Of course, it's very pleasant to chat with you.

But there are some small problems. For example, I won't reply in segments like you. So you may have some difficulties in reading. I'll try my best to be clear in sections. And it's very slow to enter this website at home, sometimes it takes a long time to load.

Do you like watching anime, or do you have any music recommendations and other hobbies.
Looking forward to your sharing

I wish I were more patient. I took the time to do that because I enjoyed it... Now just to get myself to do the things I don't like... haha

It is good you managed to find the 'show' button. You can actually do that very simply by putting your text into a 'spoiler tag' which looks like this:

Code: Select all
Your text here
But I can't seem to see the photos in imgur. When I enter the imgur website, there will be a connection failure. Sorry, I haven't found a way to solve this problem.
It must just not be available in your area. I've had problem connecting to websites before for that very reason.

Don't worry about it not working.

I think I understand what you mean.
No problem, that's good. I want to try to write a paragraph without translation software. But in order not to make a joke, I still learned enough words before trying to do so.
You'll get there, haha. I have tremendous respect for people learning new languages! Several years ago, I was actually on my way to becoming fluent in French but for various reasons I kind of fell off that wagon (idiom), and my brains finds it much harder to learn new languages now. Apparently, the ideal time for humans to learn new languages is around childhood, which makes sense because they would already be in the process of learning at least one, anyway...

I've actually just recently heard about virtual age. I think it is really quite different from how we do things, and I am wondering if my assumption is true that doing things this way would cause a large burst of activity and appointments within any government programs/services relating to identity/licensing?

I know it is already a large pain renewing our identity cards and whatnot here in Canada, I cannot imagine how much more crowded and hectic it would be if everyone's meetings were all scheduled within the same couple weeks or months in a year! That is not to mention that China has a population close to two orders of magnitude (one hundred times) over that of canada!

Beyond that, I'm not sure I understand your last sentence from this quote, but I think it will be hard to get it to translate well as it seems to have to do with ordering numbers and to my knowledge 99% of translation software will botch that, given the vast difference in grammar between our tongues.
I don't go out often in recent years, so I also have some physical problems. It's best to take time out for a walk, which is very helpful to your mood.
When do you start school? It's strange and exciting to go to a new place. But it's a strange place after all, so it's normal to feel anxious. Please take it easy.
I've been foing my best to start being active again, and I have indeed found it has helped my mood. I hope your body is doing okay, as health is very important to happiness.

To my knowledge, I am starting school in just around one month, when it will be the start of autumn in the western hemisphere. I do suffer from anxiety, but I am more positive to start this part of my life than I ever was for previous years of schooling!
You can try to learn how to cook delicious food by yourself. It's great to eat your own cooking.
I live with my mother (and a twin brother, actually), and she has been slowly teaching me to cook, but it's not too urgent as she is fairly healthy and able to do so, and we all have a lot of other things to work on. However, it is absolutely on the list of things to accomplish before leaving home or otherwise becoming independent.
I go to school 300 kilometers away from home, so I need to take the high-speed rail for a period of time every time I go home. The high-speed railway in our country is very perfect, so the actual time spent on the road is not very long.
That is truly astounding. My school is a short bus ride away. China and Canada are both large countries, but I will admit that most of Canada's population is densely focused in a number of areas. To my knowledge, I have only ever taken a ride 300 or more kms from home once in my life when visiting an uncle who lives in 'the bush' (what we call rural places).

Actually, when I was a baby, our family took a plane trip to Morocco where my father hales from, however I do not remember it because my brain would have been the size of a tennis ball or something :D :D :D .

The even more amazing thing to me is that the trip is actually fairly brief. I am not very familiar with public transportation in Canada or even my hometown, but I do know for certain it is nowhere near that efficient. I am just hoping it is mostly clean, I am a little bit of a germaphobe.

I'm not sure for certain what you mean by 'anime' but the answer is probably yes, regardless.

We have several forms of animated television available here, such as 'cartoons' which are generally made locally (they are traditionally for children, though that has changed in the last couple decades with 'adult animation' which is either some of my favorite shows of all time, or hot garbage that I will not even touch), and 'anime' which almost exclusively refers to japanese media (though I have seen a couple chinese shows, which I think are appropriate to also call 'anime'? I unfortunately do not believe I have yet to see a korean 'anime', though I know there are some plans to make some!)

My profile picture is actually from an adult animation (that sounds sexual, but I am not using it in that context) called "Futurama" which has been my favorite show for around half of my life, by now! I've watched it several times, and it's always fun!

I will actually link to your my MyAnimeList account, it shows everything I have picked up or plan to in the future! Nearly 28 days worth of screentime, which I am both proud and ashamed of lololol

https://myanimelist.net/profile/Froggychum

I am also a frog on that website, haha.

As for music, I have many playlists on YouTube, but I will not link them because they are attached to my real name which is info that I generally keep private.

There is one band which has a large number of songs within my favorites. They're called ""Imagine Dragons"" and to my knowledge they are fairly popular, at least in north america. I do not specifically follow bands, so I have not seen all these guys songs, but I have seen a lot of theirs, and I can say most of the ones I have listened to immediately go into a playlist!

I know several other good bands, but they only have a handful of songs, and I haven't seen as much of their total work.

As for other hobbies, I also like reading online - be it amateur/professional novels or korean webcomics. I also do my own creative writing (I have been working on one project for maybe 4 or 5 years now? It is over 3000 pages and still growing everyday), and watch a load of youtube videos.

I'm not very good at gaming, and not super interesting in most video games, so I mostly play Minecraft (to burn time) and Guild Wars 2 (for a more immersive and rewarding experience)

Guild Wars 2 actually has a decent soundtrack. I do not know if I enjoy Minecraft's music, but it is very nostalgic because I have been playing or watching videos of that game for probably over 10 years now!

This one was very long, so please take your time to read it and do not feel pressured to respond right away if you do not have time or energy! When you get the chance to send back, I am also wondering what sort of activities you enjoy? Do we share any interests in common?

I'm sorry I didn't do a segmented reply like you, and getting into this site is very slow and often gets stuck.

Indeed, the older you get, the harder it is to learn new things. So I need to learn more words while I'm young. Because English is the most widely spoken language in the world
The idiom "I kind of fell off that wagon" means you quit drinking and then relapsed. It took me a while to find out the meaning, but I'm more than happy to learn this new knowledge.

Regarding Xusui, I can't translate your assumptions. My translation software is not very easy to use. Machine translation often fails to translate what you mean or what I want to express. I believe it is difficult for you to read the stories I wrote. I think it may be easier to understand if it is a single sentence dialogue, and I often need to translate long sentences for a while.
Roughly considered a year or two older than normal

English grammar is indeed different from Chinese, so sometimes you may not understand my translation

China is the country with the most population in the world. Therefore, our ID card is updated according to the following: the younger age is five years, and the older the age, the longer the renewal cycle.
Being active is good for your body and your mood, I want to try it
I'm always anxious about my college because if I don't get good grades, I won't be admitted
I will start school in twenty days. Because I am going to college next year, time is very tight.

Learning to cook before independence was really important but not very well valued in our country
Again, I've had the same issue when using the website and it's loading very slowly.

It's an anime, yes, I entered the URL you gave and the loading is very slow, I can only see your basic information. I like to watch One Piece, or some other anime. There are many animes I like, but they are basically Japanese animes. Anime made in our country doesn't appeal to me. About the style of painting and the like, it is more inclined to Japanese animation

It's a little difficult to tweet in our country, but we have a well-known anime website: https://www.bilibili.com/ but also contains a lot of personal videos, and most of the anime charges.

Imagine Dragons has a lot of my favorite songs! Their songs are also very popular in our country, and many video creators choose their music as background music. I listened to his songs about five years ago. Like 'Shots'. It's my favorite song.

MC is also very popular in our country, especially a few years ago. I don't know much about Guild Wars, but it seems to be a very interesting game. I have a steam account, and I bought a few games in it, because I haven't had much time to play these years.

Most of China's games are in-app purchases (in-game recharge), and they are very expensive. I like computer games, but most of my laptops don't support them, so I'm waiting for the end of the college entrance examination next year to play some games.

I like reading books, but I prefer paper books. Paper books feel good and have weight in my hand. If I can, can I take a look at your works.

This one is really long, so I am amazed at your patience. Translations occasionally take a while, but that's not a problem.

Hm... I was going to argue that the idiom means something else, but I looked it up and it seems I was the one who actually misused the phrase haha...

I just meant that I faltered while learning French, leading me to never finishing it. I didn't mean to say anything about me drinking alcohol lolol.
Regarding Xusui, I can't translate your assumptions. My translation software is not very easy to use. Machine translation often fails to translate what you mean or what I want to express. I thought about it a bit more, and I think I understand this 'lunar age' now... It is quite interesting. I hear they do a similar thing in South Korea.
China is the country with the most population in the world. Therefore, our ID card is updated according to the following: the younger age is five years, and the older the age, the longer the renewal cycle.
That makes a lot of sense. Here in Canada (and the USA) we have so much bureaucracy, that every single license (be it your health insurance, driver's license, and so on) each gets renewed every few years. I believe this period is static, but I do not have the experience to say for sure, as I just started collecting IDs after turning 18 (the age of majority).
Being active is good for your body and your mood, I want to try it
I strongly recommend it. I only started lightly exercising about a month ago, and I am already noticing improvements which make me feel better about my body. Given that I am very young, my health was not being immediately impacted by inactivity, but making these good habits now will still pay off in the future.

I do not know your situation, but if you spend a lot of time sitting down (either because you work an office job or because you are lazy and love playing video games all day like I do) the most important thing is to just move around a little.

Personally, I do not recommend getting a gym membership. They can be very expensive, and you can get similar results from just doing calisthetics. Unless you want to try intense bodybuilding, I advise against purchasing a large amount of heavy equipment, because it is expensive and also can be dangerous without proper training.

If you are perhaps working part of full time in a factory job, where you do move around a little bit, but have a lot of repetitive movements, the more important thing may be to watch out for carpal tunnel or other repetitive stress injuries. I actually sometimes get pain in my wrists, because I spend hours every day writing (mostly for entertainment). So, I try my best to make sure I stretch my hands and take short breaks, because developing carpal tunnel is very painful, often requires surgery, and will probably leave you unable to use your hands well for some time.

Of course, diet is also important. I cannot say much about it because I am not a doctor, but I know for me I have a very fast metabolism and find it hard to gain weight. Since I am scrawny, it is more important for me to remember to eat a lot of calories and protein, then to try and reduce my intake. If you are overweight, this will not work for you.
I'm always anxious about my college because if I don't get good grades, I won't be admitted
I will start school in twenty days. Because I am going to college next year, time is very tight.
I am wishing you good luck! I am also a little nervous about not being admitted, but I believe my university will accept me.

If it is possible for you, try to focus on the important courses. I know in Canada, English and Math are both ubiquitously necessary for getting into a good school, while classes like Art or Health are only important if you plan to go into specific fields.

I cannot say if it is the same in China, since the work force is likely structured differently.

Just do your best, and make sure you know what you are - in general - aiming for.

It seems I am a little bit older than you, so some advice I can give is that even if you do not know what you want to do with your life (such as me), it is still important to pick something, because it is better to change your mind later than become paralyzed with indecision!
Learning to cook before independence was really important but not very well valued in our country
Again, I've had the same issue when using the website and it's loading very slowly.
My mother values cooking so she taught it to me, but also over here cooking is considered an unimportant skill unless you are a woman planning on becoming a housewife. It is a bit of an outdated idea, as most people do not get married so young anymore, and so it is important that everyone knows how to safely prepare nutritious meals for themselves!

My apologies if the site is loading slowly, I don't really think anything can be done about it sadly...

I know One Piece is very popular, but I dislike shonen anime because of personal taste. Also, it is extremely long and I don't think I have the patience to watch it all.

I have heard of 'bili bili' before, but I did not know it was an anime site. That is pretty cool. I always find it interesting when I hear about large websites that are not really used in the west. It shows me that the world is very large, and I will never be able to see all of it. It is kind of inspiring, but also a little depressing.
Imagine Dragons has a lot of my favorite songs! Their songs are also very popular in our country, and many video creators choose their music as background music. I listened to his songs about five years ago. Like 'Shots'. It's my favorite song.
I haven't listened to that one yet, I will listen to it and see what I think. It puts a smile on my face that two people from different parts of the world can share an interest in the same music creators!
MC is also very popular in our country, especially a few years ago. I don't know much about Guild Wars, but it seems to be a very interesting game. I have a steam account, and I bought a few games in it, because I haven't had much time to play these years.
Minecraft was also most popular in the west about five or so years ago. It is still tremendously large, but I believe the peak of it's popularity has passed. Though, recently we have seen it rising back up, which is kind of cool.

I enjoy Guild Wars 2, because unlike most MMORPGs, it is relatively affordable, and also designed in a way that is understanding for casual players who do not want to spend all day logged in on the server.

Of course, it is also just simply fun, haha.

I also have a steam account, but I barely use it anymore - if ever. I only have a small number of games as well.
Most of China's games are in-app purchases (in-game recharge), and they are very expensive. I like computer games, but most of my laptops don't support them, so I'm waiting for the end of the college entrance examination next year to play some games.
I hate in-app purchases. I think it is extremely greedy for big corporations to take advantage of people in insidious ways. I don't mind paying for entertainment, but it should be fair and reasonable.

Also, I feel your pain for being unable to run high-requirement games. I spent most of my young life with low-spec computers that could not really run most things. I am very happy, because I recently was able to purchase an expensive and high-quality desktop used for gaming.

My advice is to try not to feel like you are missing out. Just enjoy the games you can play, because there are still many of them. This comes from experience, of course.

A similar thing I remember, is when I was young I spent most my childhood somewhat envying my friends who could play first-person shooters, but I was not allowed to because my mother thought they were too violent. I somewhat disagree with her, but I think I understand why she stopped me.

Funnily enough, when I first joined this site I was young enough that my mom did not want me to speak with strangers online. But, I was already a teenager, so I didn't really listen to her well :bloodymouth: :bloodymouth: :bloodymouth: :bloodymouth:
I like reading books, but I prefer paper books. Paper books feel good and have weight in my hand. If I can, can I take a look at your works.
I enjoy paper books for that same reason, but I find it more accessible to read online, so in the end I mostly choose that.

Unfortunately, I am not really sharing my works, but I am genuinely honored that you would ask to take a look.

Though, I really like the people on this website, so maybe sometime I will post a little bit. Nothing is really stopping me, because I do not plan on publishing (so I do not worry about people 'stealing' the ideas), and I am old enough to not really be embarassed for writing things others may criticize. Honestly, it is probably just out of habit that I do not share a lot of my writings.
This one is really long, so I am amazed at your patience. Translations occasionally take a while, but that's not a problem
I am more amazed at your patience, because I do am not the one who has to do any translation, haha.

I do not want to give you too much more work, but I have one question I thought of: Do you have any pets? My family keeps a cat (he is an indoors pet, we do not let him outside on his own for various reasons. He can still enjoy the weather on the property, though). He is very adorable, and I love him very much. Maybe sometime I will post a picture for everyone to see. He is already over 10 years old, but still very healthy and handsome. What a good boy :-)

He had a twin that unfortunately died when we were young. I cried for many days :cry2: :cry2: :cry2: I am over it now though, and am happy to have one amazing little friend.

Sometimes I get worked up when I think of this one passing away, but then I tell myself that the most important thing is to spend a lot of time together, so that I do not regret it when he is gone.

The idiom "I kind of fell off that wagon" means you quit drinking and then relapsed. It took me a while to find out the meaning, but I'm more than happy to learn this new knowledge.

Sorry for replying after a month, I can't access this website at home

Now that I'm back at school, it's easier to access the site so I can find time to reply from class time.

I stayed at home for a long time this summer because of the outbreak of the epidemic outside.

I spent some time practicing calligraphy at home, but here is more grade-oriented. So grades are important. Such as English, Chinese, mathematics.

I have watched One Piece since I was a child, and I also have deep memories of Reaper and Naruto. Indeed it is long and takes a long time.

There was a dog at home, a stray dog. Came to my house and disappeared after seven years. My family speculated that it knew it was going to die,
so it left the house. I still remember it to this day, and I miss it.

If it is in the future, I really want to have a squirrel because it is very cute.

Sorry again for taking so long to reply, my time is very tight, I need to prepare for the exam, there will be plenty of time next year.
But still want to hear some interesting things from you. Because this is new to me.

Welcome back! I'm sorry to hear that story about the dog. If it is any consolation, I think he would have been very happy to have somewhere to get food and love while he was alive.

My family does not take in stray pets, but we have multiple times left out food, water, and even bedding for them. It is really said when domesticated animals are forced to live on the street instead of with people. That is why we neuter and spay all of our pets.

Well, our cat is indoors-only though, but I don't think he is missing too much. We do let him outside on warm days, but he has to stay on a leash (a cat wearing a leash is a very funny scene haha)

I believe you can do well in your courses! If you study hard, anything should be possible! I also recommend trying to look at things differently when you get stuck. Personally, my best subject is probably math (though I am not pursuing a career in it, because I do not really enjoy it)

To my knowledge, squirrels cannot be domesticated, but I have heard of some people who have tamed them. Apparently, if you just feed them every time they come over, they will even start eating out of your hand! After years, they will let you even touch them! A big show of trust, for a wild animal

Please don't worry about taking too long to reply! Your success in school is the more important thing! This site is not going anywhere, it has been around for many years!

As for an interesting thing to tell you, I actually have one. Today we did a yard sale. These are also called garage sales. Basically, we took a bunch of stuff we don't want anymore, and set it up outside on the property. Then, people could drive by on their cars/bicycles or walk by, and look for things they want to purchase.

These are not very profitable, and they are a lot of work also (especially since my mother is getting older, and it is fairly hot outside). However, it is worth doing if you want a small amount of cash, and since we were going to either throw away or donate all that stuff anyway.

I do not know if you have yard sales in China, but here they are a seasonal thing only done in summer. Also, we do it every year because one of our neighbors has a larger yard sale, and advertises his by gluing papers to poles around the city (this is perfectly legal to my knowledge) and probably in the newspaper also.

Today, me and my twin brother helped her move everything out. She is selling things right now, and I plan to visit her a couple times to keep her company, since she might get lonely or tired. I also bring her water or juice if she asks for it

Good luck to you with school! I am actually starting my university courses in just over 1 week! I am a little nervous and a little excited, but most of all I am very lazy and dread having to go outside every day ha ha ha

Looking forward to hearing from you whenever you are available!

thank you for your forgiveness

With pet neutering, I really appreciate you doing it, it's really important. It is also gradually being taken seriously in China, because there are many stray pets.

In our country, taking pets out also requires a leash, because it will cause some problems. For example, some small dogs are not very good tempered, and they will conflict with other dogs.

My math is not very good, so I need to spend more time writing math problems.

Squirrels can become relatives from birth, but they must go out on a rope. Because they are timid, they are easily startled and run away.

Now living in the city is mostly residential housing (many people live in one building), as far as I know, there is no such way of living in Canada, because your country is much less densely populated than ours. But I also lived in a three-story self-build house when I was a kid and had lots of neighbors. Most of the things we don't use are sold as junk. But I don't know if there is such a habit in other parts of China.
I miss that time very much, it was my childhood, and now most of the cities are residential houses. City-born children cannot enjoy the play of their own.
Posting random advertisements in China is not allowed. Because this will cause a lot of trouble for the cleaning staff.

Some time ago, many areas in China were also very hot, which was called the hottest year. But it has been raining lightly for the past two days, and today I put on long sleeves. I really like rainy days, it's so cozy. And the rainy scenery is also very beautiful.
I haven't lived apart from my parents yet because I'm still in school. This will continue until I get a job after graduation.

I am looking forward to my university life, so I try my best to study. At the same time, I wish you a wonderful university life.

Now living in the city is mostly residential housing (many people live in one building), as far as I know, there is no such way of living in Canada, because your country is much less densely populated than ours.
Canada does have a lower population density than China, but it is actually not what the numbers suggest, because people are not evenly spread out. I would wager that at least 90% of Canadians live within a population center. The vast majority of our territory is to the north, where very few people live because it is cold and remote.

In fact, we don't use most of our territory. It is amazing to have lots of natural resources, but we don't use that space for housing, since enough people would not buy in to make up for the costs of cultivating the terrain.

I found this neat image after looking things up to make sure I was not totally wrong about this:

Image

Don't worry about the English if you can't read/translate it.

Basically, darker colors is higher density. As you can see, almost everyone lives in the south.

But I was surprised by how many people in the four provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. To be clear, those are the two landmasses in the east which are slightly disconnected from the mainland. I thought those places were almost as sparsely rural as the North, but I was wrong it seems.

This map is from 2014 IIRC, so it should actually be even more extreme since generally people move to cities from the country and not vice versa
I miss that time very much, it was my childhood, and now most of the cities are residential houses. City-born children cannot enjoy the play of their own.
My family is very lucky because we have always owned our house (we do have a mortgage payment, but it is low). I know that most of the kids I went to school with rented apartments because their parents could not afford to even lease a house - before even thinking about fully buying it.

So I understand how you feel when you say that. Having a decently-sized yard is really good for children, I think.

We have moved once in my life. The same city, but further downtown. This was because the original house was too old and large for our mother to take care of alone. Also, we were growing up and so she wanted to move somewhere with more access to broader society. However, I miss the old house and still like it more, even though this was the right choice. That is because our old street was very quiet and clean, while our new neighborhood is filled with poverty and drugs.

I don't dislike poor people, but I do not feel comfortable living somewhere with so many desperate people.

I don't mean to make it sound too bad, because we do not live in the slums. This is just the more dense part of town. The city does not really have a slums (it is too small), though I know bigger cities like Toronto definitely have them.

I do not like this town, and I think some day I will move elsewhere, just because I feel like the people who live here are not very progressive or educated, mostly because they never had the opportunities that I have had.

It is really scary being part of the middle class, because the wealth gap is growing in Canada, and so our purchasing power will shrink and shrink until we are no different from the poor. Nobody wants to be in that situation, where they have to live day to day. I feel terrible that so many people in my country live like that, and that is before mentioning how many people in the world have an even worse quality of life.

I think the world would be a better place if everyone could live comfortably. I wonder if it is possible with the resources we have left, though.
Posting random advertisements in China is not allowed. Because this will cause a lot of trouble for the cleaning staff.
That makes sense. I think in Canada, whoever cleans the streets do not really mind advertisements, since they are not considered trash.
Some time ago, many areas in China were also very hot, which was called the hottest year. But it has been raining lightly for the past two days, and today I put on long sleeves. I really like rainy days, it's so cozy. And the rainy scenery is also very beautiful.
Global warming is scary. I have no idea what will happen to Canada, but I think it will be devastating. This is because we have a lot of biomes, and many populated places are close to the shore or to lakes, so they are vulnerable to hurricanes and stuff.

Every day I go outside in the sun, I am reminded how grateful I am to have air conditioning inside to keep me cool.

I am glad you are enjoying the rain. Personally, I find it very uncomfortable and a little depressing. Though, rain that does not leave humidity in the air is much more bearable. I don't know if you get these in your part of China, but where I live we get sun showers which are really nice. A sun shower is when it rains during the day while the sun is out. It is pretty cool, actually.

Thunderstorms are annoying because the power goes out. Fortunately, they are not dangerous unless you are driving.

Blizzards (also called snow storms) happen fairly often in Canada. They are even worse for driving. Actually, driving during winter is apparently multiple times more deadly than driving in summer. Because of the ice on the roads, causes people to uncontrollably swerve and crash.

I need to get my driver's license soon, but I am a little anxious to start driving. My mother is an excellent driver, who has done so for many years already. So, she offered to coach me and I feel a little better if it is her that helps me learn.
I haven't lived apart from my parents yet because I'm still in school. This will continue until I get a job after graduation.
I also live with my parent (just my mother). I also have a twin brother. Do you have any siblings?

I hope you are happy to be with your parents. Personally, I like living with my family because I do not want to be alone or with strangers, and I enjoy their company and reliability. I have my own room, so I never feel like I don't have any space to be alone.

After I graduate, I will also probably stay with my family. I think I will live like this for a while, but maybe when I am older I will want to live away from home.
I am looking forward to my university life, so I try my best to study. At the same time, I wish you a wonderful university life.
Thank you for your thoughts. I also hope you do your best, and succeed in the end!

Right now, I am starting school in four days. I am a little excited and a little nervous, but mostly I am dreading how much work I will have to do. I am a very lazy person, so I am not looking forward to the effort. Even worse is that I will have less time to play games and do my own writing.

Today was very hard, and there is still more to do. This is because I had so many chores today because I have to prepare so much for school.

I would even say that today was the worst day I have had in recent memory, because I am starting a new prescription medication in order to help me focus at school, but it is causing me to suffer mentally, and I also was nauseous and dizzy. The family doctor is on maternity leave, and the substitute doctor is extremely annoying and unhelpful. We are considering refusing to take this medicine, because she does not feel reliable and it is causing me to suffer worse problems rather than give me the help I need to do well at school.

Sorry about complaining. I don't know if you've taken pharmaceuticals, but as someone with several disabilities I will tell you that it is extremely unfortunate to have the very pills you take in order to function in society be the thing which instead causes you to be sick and confused all day.

I am relieved that at least my disabilities are not severe enough to completely impair me, but I will admit that without medication I find it hard to behave properly even when my day just consists of doing whatever I want.

Mental health is extremely important, and neurological disorders are very serious. I am very proud to have worked hard for so many years so that today I can do just as much as everyone else, and I can even make connections with the people around me.

There are also fewer people in Northwest China because of the high terrain, thin air, inconvenient transportation and poor contact with the outside world. And the terrain is not conducive to the development of agriculture, and the food is limited.
I'm sorry I can't open your picture, but if you upload the picture file directly, I should be able to see it, because I have successfully transmitted a picture before.
For me, this is a knowledge I have never understood, so thank you for replying to me.
The city I live in actually brings us little pressure, compared with some cities that are developing rapidly. This is very enjoyable, because we can have a little more time for ourselves.
I also miss the old house very much, because it was my childhood,
When I was young, I envied the people who lived in the community. But now I don't feel very good.
It seems that drugs are legal in Canada, but in my personal understanding, this is very bad, because the harm of drugs is very serious, and there is no tolerance for drugs in China.
I don't feel that the gap between the rich and the poor is very large in China, because our country has many poverty alleviation strategies.
Like you, I also look forward to a better world, but the reality is often cruel.
I occasionally see sun and rain in summer, which is really cool.
I have never seen a blizzard. In fact, because of air pollution, there is little chance of snow. I'm looking forward to snow.
Road icing in winter is very disturbing, but in places with many people, we usually take measures to prevent people on the road from slipping or vehicles from slipping.
I have a sister who loves me very much. She is seven years older than me. If she gets married in the future, I think I may be very sad.
I am far away from my hometown now, and I feel very bad. I don't think I will choose to leave my hometown to work after I finish my studies
I hope you can get your driver's license as soon as possible. I will take the driver's license test after next year's test.
If you can, can you tell me about your etiology. Although I don't know anything about it.
If it is really useful for the disease, it should still be used. If it is not helpful to the body, I don't think I will accept it. Of course, it depends on how you feel.
I am a healthy person. At least so far, I have not found any serious diseases.
So I may not be able to imagine your pain, but I sincerely hope that your disease can be treated and recover as soon as possible.
I admire you for doing all this.

That makes sense. I know that north of China there is Mongolia, which I believe has one of the lowest population densities of all countries in the world.

Did that work?
It seems that drugs are legal in Canada, but in my personal understanding, this is very bad, because the harm of drugs is very serious, and there is no tolerance for drugs in China.
The only drug that is legal here is weed. Well, it has many names so maybe it does not translate well. It is also called cannabis or marijuana. I could probably go for a while but I figure one of those terms will work.

This was a recent decision. I support it because marijuana is generally not very harmful, and a lot of people were imprisoned for simply having it on their person. At most, I have heard some people get nausea, headaches and slight paranoia from using it, and so they choose to stop. The main use of weed is in medicine as pain relief, and for recreation. People who do weed are called stoners or potheads which can be used in both a derogatory or non-derogatory way depending on context.

In recreation, people use it for relaxation and some people just like 'getting high' which I think is okay as long as they can still function in society and contribute to society. Marijuana is scientifically proven to NOT be addictive. In fact, it is actually possible to behave and even work while high on weed. It is not a hallucinogenic either.

As for other (more harmful) drugs, I don't remember exactly but I believe some have been decriminalized, which means that they are still an illegal thing to buy and sell, but people are not getting arrested and facing charges for being addicted to them. I support this because it means that we can set up social programs to help people break their addictions.

Some examples of harmful drugs used in Canada include heroin and cocaine. I have been told by my mother that she has noticed some of our previous neighbors were doing cocaine. They had to move somewhere else a year ago because of losing all their money to feed their addiction. It was unfortunate, but they were bad people who took advantage of my mother's generosity a lot, and they were also violent towards her one time. I am sorry for where they are in life, but I don't hesitate to call them bad people. I'm happy they have left.

Heroine is probably the worse of those two. Apparently, Canada has been going through an 'opiod epidemic' and a trending drug nowadays is called Fentanyl (or carfentanyl) which is extremely dangerous due to how many people overdose on it and die.

Basically, we have also created designated locations for addicts to do drugs. This sounded very weird to me at first, and even shocking! I asked my mother why we were giving people a place to do drugs, but she told me it would not encourage people to start heroin, but rather the purpose is to have these places so that emergency medics can stay nearby to prevent overdoses, and hand out clean needles to prevent infections.

Canada also has started selling a heroin substitute called Methadone, which is used by pharmacies to stave off some of the addiction while keeping them healthy and away from heroine which is destructive. These places are called methadone clinics, because they sell to people with requests for it. Of course, this has to be done in writing by medical professionals. Not any person can just go buy Methadone for fun.

for a long time I thought drug addicts were all worthless, but then I listened to some stories about how they were forced to live, and now I appreciate how much effort it takes to get out of an addictive substance. I think it is humane for us to try and make them comfortable while we encourage them to become clean.

Because, addicts will find a way to get their drugs, even in prisons they can get them. There is no harm to society with having them be treated like people who are suffering from a disorder, rather than treating them like evil criminals.

I will say though that I understand addicts do more crime than most people. I don't think they should get any leeway for robbery or assault, even if I sympathize with their struggles.

Also, I think some recreational drugs should be allowed in society, because I value freedom. However, I think harmful drugs should not be available for purchase and social services should be available to help addicts overcome their drug use.

In the united states of america (Canada's southern sister-country) the situation is even more extreme, and to my knowledge also has become complicated because of the Drug War started by Nixon in the 1970s (roughly). Racial minorities suffer the most drug-related crimes, for socioeconomic reasons. I don't live there, but I think it would be good if they re-thought how heavily they punish people for extremely minor crimes like having a single gram of marijuana in a bag at your house.

Sorry that was long , but I guess I am more passionate about this issue then I realized.
I'm looking forward to snow.
A little bit of snow is super beautiful!

A lot of snow is absolutely hellish. Especially when it lasts six or more months straight. Canada can get an amount of snow up to an average man's waist, depending on the weather.
I have a sister who loves me very much. She is seven years older than me. If she gets married in the future, I think I may be very sad.
This warms my heart. I hope you and your sister keep a good relationship, and that you both find loving and kind spouses (unless you do not want to ever marry, then I still wish you happiness)
If you can, can you tell me about your etiology. Although I don't know anything about it.
I had to search the internet for what 'etiology' means. I think I understand the question now.

Basically, I have several neurological conditions, ever since birth. Some of them are diagnosed fairly commonly in Canada.

To my memory, I have autism (specifically, asperger's syndrome), borderline ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and ODD (oppositional defiant disorder).

These are all very complicated (obviously, doctors study for many years), but I can simply explain what I have felt:
- Autism causes me to struggle with some kinds of empathy as well as social norms like sarcasm or eye contact. I also often suffer sensory overload, which can cause me to become uncomfortable or even have a breakdown. This is rare, since I am an adult and have learned to control myself better.
- OCD is something which causes me to feel inclined to perform various 'rituals' (no religious meaning intended) or else I will become mentally irritable. You can think of it like an imaginary itch which is only soothed if you do the rituals. These things include mostly silly stuff - such as turning the lights on and off three times before leaving a room - such as washing your hands three times instead of just once - such as constantly orienting your carpets or paintings to always be perfectly straight and without wrinkles. Another thing OCD causes is nervous tics, which are basically just strange movements that I feel compelled to do to feel comfortable. This could include blinking your eyes shut very hard, or splaying your fingers out, or cracking your neck back. These tics appear unusual and weird too other people, and they also can actually increase anxiety instead of decrease it. Some people get stuck in tic spirals, where they keep doing these tics for several minutes. These tics are not uncontrollable spasms, like with other diseases, but rather they are chosen to be done in order to try and alleviate anxiety caused from not doing them.
- ODD is kind of funny, but also one that has caused me the most harm I think. It is a disorder which basically makes me inclined to angrily reject anything I am told to do. Basically, if something is phrased to me as a demand, I get an instinctual response of anger and refusal. This is not even limited to words. I have had dreams where I try to walk through a door, and it closes in front of me. My subconscious brain interprets this as unfair , as a violation and as a force of adversity against me. Thus, I became angered. I have gotten better at controlling this, and I do not have outbursts anymore from it.
- ADHD is worse for many people, mine is quite minor. Hence, it is called borderline. The main issue I get from ADHD is that I have trouble focusing.

It should be noted that if I could cure OCD, ODD and ADHD I would. But I would always choose to have autism. the reason is that Autism is a strange condition which basically is a part of an Autistic person's personality. There is no clear line between where their sense of self and creative expression ends, and where the neurological difference begins.

Also, I am extremely blessed, because my autism is a high-functioning kind, which means that I am mostly similar to other people, except some differences. I have known people with such severe autism that they are totally non-verbal and have a range of communication barely more expressive than infants, even if they are in their 30s. This is not an exaggeration, the most severe autism can be considered an intellectual deficiency. Sadly, many autistic people may seem extremely crippled on the outside, but internally they are actually as developed as normal adults, except they are unable to physically express themselves, and so appear to be totally incapable people. This is tragic, I think.
If it is really useful for the disease, it should still be used. If it is not helpful to the body, I don't think I will accept it. Of course, it depends on how you feel.
I stopped taking that med. I have been fine. I think I may have been very anxious about university, and overestimated how little of an attention span I would have. So far, I have done well in my classes.
I am a healthy person. At least so far, I have not found any serious diseases.
I also consider myself 'healthy', because all my conditions are internal and mental. Honestly, I am so happy to have come so far.

I remember when I was 4 to 12 years old, my brain did not work properly. I was equally as smart, funny and creative as I am today (well except for the years of knowledge gained of course) but I did not experience reality in the same way as everyone else.

It is hard to explain, but the best way I can describe it is with a narrative illustration:

While walking down a hallway, someone bumps their shoulder lightly on the wall and grumbles before moving on.

While walking down a hallway, which makes my young self disoriented, I struggle as I focus extremely hard on making sure to 'walk on the right way', which is anguishing for me, because I don't know if I am supposed to walk on the right-hand side of the hallway, or if I am supposed to walk with my right-foot being given special intention? Does that mean I need to hop around on one leg, or do I need to limp with my left leg as though it is not carrying my weight?

Anyone else would realize this is a silly thought, but my younger self would be anxious about what would happen if I did the wrong thing. I wanted to prove that I was smart and capable, like anyone, so I decided to do both things so neither possible direction would be failed!

But, just as I make that decision, I hit my shoulder! It doesn't hurt, but it is extremely annoying, because I have been pulled from my thoughts. Now, I feel as if my decision can no longer be made, since the moment I was 'using' to make that choice was ruined by coincidence.

Of course, that is nonsensical. But my brain is wired in a way where it is just that upsetting, and that is the way I perceive it. Of course, I cannot grumble this off. Because now I have to make another choice! I was told to walk on the right way, but I can not walk on the right-hand side and also use my right-foot only. What now?
...
...
This situation is kind of dragging on, so I'm going to stop there. I will say two quick things

1. This was actually a fairly tame situation for me to have been in... when it came to direct communication, things were multiple times worse than when I was simply alone and in my head like this.

2. To summarize, if you want a similar experience to untreated autism, just bash yourself in the head until you feel disoriented and confused about every single thing that you come across. Then, fall asleep into a nightmare which is a repeat of all of that, except you are lucid and aware you are dreaming, but you still cannot help but get just as mad again by everything that happens.
So I may not be able to imagine your pain, but I sincerely hope that your disease can be treated and recover as soon as possible.
I've taken various forms of mental health assistance over the years, and of course my mother was always extremely patient and attentive to her two sons. I also take medication to alleviate some of the symptoms.

Thankfully, besides some eccentricities and a generally higher barrier to begin tasks, my brain follows the same patterns everyone else does. I am extremely happy that my mind is no longer such an alien, unrecognizable horror show!

-------------

this was probably my longest response yet. I feel like I spent a lot of time talking about things which have to do with me or my beliefs, and not a lot of time talking about things you said about yourself, or asking new questions.

I hope i did not come off as too self-centered. I obviously have more things to say about my life than the other stuff, but I don't want to annoy you by only talking about myself.

Anyway, since I mostly wrote this in a 'stream of consciousness' manner it is probable I miscommunicated some things or just mixed up some details.

please take your time to read and respond, your studies are much more important than spending time listening to me
