Starbucks and McDonald's are known to the state of California to cause cancer. The reason? Roasted coffee beans, as well as some other toasted thing, contain a small amount of a substance that, in certain conditions, may slightly increase one's chance to develop a certain kind of cancer. The amount of that substance that you would need to ingest to have any measurable effect is pretty big, though.

Happy anniversary everybody! I used to be a frequent regular here many years ago and although I left after only 3 or so years I've never forgotten my first home on the internet. I'm glad to see both familiar faces and some new ones around. I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe in these trying times. Here's to 10 years of the most excellent little pocket on the web there is.

By the way, does anybody happen to know how I can get in touch with Lunar? I see he hasn't been on in quite some time and I was hoping one of the old guard here might know another way to contact him.
