Minecraft for ASDF

I know some people have showed up talking about minecraft in the past and idk if this is already out there or not but here you go

Ok, so here we go

Server is private! Feel free to join any time, and I'll post up when I have to shut it down and when it comes back up as best I can. If we get too many people I'll raise the person cap but I don't think we'll ever get more than 16 people.

-Play nice
=Don't break other people's stuff, if it's something offensive ask me and I'll give permission to take down certain things/do it my self
=No random columns, they are required to build some stuff but if it's not part of the structure make them of sand and take them down when done.
=No admin impersonation, anyone doing this will have their ip banned
=No flooding, water ruins stuff a lot, keep your water from flowing to other peoples stuff.
=Since I do it all the time (lol) I suppose I wont take out swearing until it bothers someone

this is awesome! I love Minecraft, and I was the first one to mention it; the game is available for download on its site but I've never played online, it looks really nice. thanks

For some reason It wont work on my desktop, but it probably will on my laptop, which is not able to stay connected to the internet, shuts off when overheating, and I take it places.

So it turns out that minecraft servers are just broken right now, I'll try to get it working later when I can be sure that minecraft isn't dead lol

Okay...so, is there like a point to this game? You walk around destroying blocks and putting new ones where you want, but is there a mission or something? Am I supposed to eat the flowers or something? I don't get it. Please help the old man out. What am I missing?

the point is to just get things and build other things so you can mine for other things to build things with and to store things in. and you don't eat the flowers.

for some reason the server doesn't work for me, it's just a black box... I even tried multiple browsers but it still doesn't work. what's up with that?

I think there's an issue with my desk top, I'll try hosting from my laptop and post up a link shortly here, It won't be up as consistantly, but I'll try to leave my laptop home and on as much as I can.
