looking at laptops/notebooks

im supposed to get a laptop for my birthday, so i was wondering if you guys know of anything good. keep in mind ill be 15 so it has to be durable.
my price range is also only 7-900 american dollars. [i don't know how to convert the units.
any suggestions would be great.

If you say dollars people know it's american.
oh and acer is a good notebook company. very easy to use and pretty durable. Some models even have fingerprint scan for extra security.

right now im looking at a fujitsu. 200GB locking hard drive [if i drop it]. and it has a spill proof keyboard. but i'll check out acer.

wow... 7-900$ is a good amount for a laptop... to be honest as long as its durable you'll be good ...

i was at best buy the other day and i saw a gateway gaming laptop.
it was pretty sweet.
too bad my parents don't love me enough.

Well yea... That's a common problem... Non-loving parents because they don't give you material things but give you a non-spoiling childhood so by the time you're 22 you have a majour leap forward in comparision with the other kids at school...

lenovo is decent kinda un heard of but i was told or believe they baught out ibm and its a 900$ computer with a 300$ rebate runs fast has vista built in web cam and microphone very durable and a lot of space....ill go check my book on it if your interested?
