Post by MTG09 » Wed Feb 08, 2012 1:16 am

I don't quite understand what exactly is the problem here.. if your "om" stands for your mom, then you should probably talk to her about it, and tell her this is the most friendly place on the web, safer than facebook, etc..
either way, can't you just use private browsing? also, https://proxy.org/ , https://ctunnel.com/ , http://www.cottonlegs.com/ , http://proxybrowsing.com/ , etc etc etc..
i don't know how old are you but I think you're still considered a generation which cannot be outsmarted by their parents in computer matters.. :P so live up to that. Use the force!

Agreed! How is it pronounced? Can you write it phonetically?

I've been on this forum for 2 years now and I have no idea how it's pronounced.

I'm Hungarian. Hungarians pronounce the same way as they write. When other sounds need to be used, we have accents and double letters. In my username, there are no double letters, and I've replaced the accented letters with regular ones, so it's pretty straightforward.

ps. for all your english pronouncation issues:
"e" is the e in element
"j" is the y in yak
"r" is like the russian r you probably know.
"g" is like the first g in garbage

I meant digraph, like ny and sz. TT is indeed a double letter, but I didn't know the right word for digraphs and trigraphs.
