I've heard of it, and back in junior high I had the basic rules explained to me, but I have never owned a deck or played it.

One of my favorite authors is a big fan of the game, though.

He's a cool guy. I have book 12 and 13 of the Wheel of Time series and Way of Kings signed by him. He also plays magic.

Sanderson will commonly go into bookstores within the airports he goes to and sign books by him. I'm sure he provides identification and asks permission to do so before he signs them.
