So this website isn't dead?
So this website isn't dead?
It's been about two or more years since I left this site, and when I did, it was pretty dead. I came back for Nostalgia sake, and to maybe bring some more attention to this website. Was actually a lot of fun when it wasn't... dying... glad to see it's doing okay. I mean as I speak there's like 50 users online so that's cool. Anywho, what's up?

Re: So this website isn't dead?
Hi!
We're not dead, but there isn't that much activity.
The "50 users online" is a lie, most of those are not registered, likely mostly spambots and search engines or some other technical gremlin.
There's a few of us posting semi-regularly. Not in the roleplay section tho... that seems desolate.

As long as there's a person with admin-like privileges, someone will join, and once they're approved, they will post occasionally.

We're still alive!

Re: So this website isn't dead?
Here's a handy link!
There's at least one more that's not in that list, but apparently I get an SQL error if I try to post the "Multiple Musical Notes" emoji
Edit: Test on the other musical emoji, which does appear in the link: FAILED
Apparently, the database can't store emoji.

Incorrect string value: '\xF0\x9F\x91\x8D f...' for column 'post_text' at row 1 [1366]
I fail to see how can there be an incorrect string value... what encoding does the forum use?

Re: So this website isn't dead?
'xF0\x9F...' is the UTF-8 representation of the emoji. The HTML for this page is represented as UTF-8, as well.
My guess is that the forum can't handle anything beyond the Basic Multilingual Plane. The multiple notes emoji is U+1F3B6, so it's beyond that plane. Specifically, it's in the Supplementary Multilingual Plane.

- Pronouns: Well it shouldn't really be that complicated if you go over my post history but then... why are you searching through my post history? Don't you think you are over complicating something as simple as just referring to me? Why are you like this? Is it just out of boredom? Does your religion require it? You could just assume them and skip all this paragraph, don't worry an eldritch horror won't appear out of nowhere to eat you (or me for that matter) if you get this wrong, the worst that can happen is I ignore you and even in that case you can try again! There shouldn't be that many options anyway so if you get it wrong the first time try again and again. Bottom line is: you just lost a bunch of time reading this paragraph for something as trivial as figuring out how to refer to me when you could just have deduced it which should make you think your life choices so far.
