Fading memories

I lurk in the murky waters of memory, releasing clarity with my toes in the mud.

I drift aimlessly from the present only to find earth, ground, solid, brown, strength, rock

I pace the past for what couldn't have been

The deception is that it never was.

We seek patterns that don't exist and find peace where it isn't and has never been

I strain my eyes but has no sight, only smell.

I press my brain for the Real, but it's all.. . real

The paths are stories, stories locked, stories kept.

You can find in me only what was never there

To those who saw, what was I?

Froggy chum: not to be rude, but, have we met?

Hey Atomgeneral, it's been awhile huh? So much has changed! How have things been here?

Are the old ones still wandering these halls?

No offense taken! We haven't spoken before, but my comment was welcoming you back to the forums in general, not to me personally, if that makes sense!

Obama feels like so long ago...I remember walking into a hunting store in some remote town and seeing advertised paper targets in his likeness... I thought that was pretty harsh, but after the last 4 years, that target seems pretty tame.

I had to google "checks notes" but what's tok tok? Rubbish?

Nice to see you M! Long times it has been..

Pffft. You believe in Obama? Everyone knows ""he"" was just a mass hysteria caused by 4g chemtrails developed on the moon (which is made of cheese) by gay jewish nazi dinosaurs.

Yeah, Hitler never killed himself. He became a cyborg velociraptor, converted to judaism, awoke to his homosexuality and hijacked a ride on secret government drones to the cheese moon.

Even for the era that was tame. An HOA in my hometown had to force a man to take down a lynching effigy off of his lawn. I count it as the only decent thing an HOA has ever done.

Very long. Sometimes I hover my mouse over the bookmark for here after not being on for a long time and worry I'll be greeted by a 404 error, but so far the end is not nigh.

Sadly, that's rather accurate.

ASDF WILL NEVER DIE

(hey future people; if asdf has died just spare me the mockery and pretend I said nothing)

I think we're so caught up in whether reptiles can experience indecisiveness that we haven't asked ourselves if they should

are you... indecisive about whether reptiles should experience indecisiveness?
should you be?
I think you should, because that's entirely an internal reptile matter, no concern of any non-reptile. Let them decide for themselves if they should be indecisive.
