These are always kind of funny to watch. Still reminds me of that annoying kid in grade school who wouldn't shut up about it, though.
Still, I feel bad for the guy, he must be bored of making these by now? Or maybe he doesn't mind putting in a few days of work every year to make huge merch sales... If so, I guess good on him.
Basic formula: Appealing minimalist style + rapid-fire (in)jokes = Viral bait

I think TomSka makes some serious bank on these. There is other content on his site that is fun, but not as awesome as the fabulous randomness that is asdfmovies.
