hello everyone.
I am so bored nowadays, all I do is sit in front of my computer doing boring stuff.
yeah I have lots of free time
but I don't know how to utilize my time well
I try to write a journal or a novel but I can't do it for long hours I get extremely tired.
I need some suggestions from the dear members of this forum.

This is something I've struggled a lot with as well. I still struggle with it, but I've gotten better.
There are endless things to do online, but it can be hard to find them - not to mention most of them probably aren't very interesting to any particular person.
If you share some of your interests (or at least, what you find fun in general), I might be able to share some things.
As a creative writer myself, here's my best writing advice:
1. Don't force yourself to write. You aren't on a deadline, so don't burn yourself out.
2. If you have lots of ideas, but don't have the energy to actually write - just create jot notes. These can be in shorthand that only you understand, but they should have the information you want to preserve. Trust me, I've written some pretty unclear notes and when I come back later I have to scrap all of it because I can't figure out what I meant in the past.
3. If you are low on ideas - but you have a good story to read, good music to listen to, et cetera - do that. You might get some inspiration from consuming media.
Hopefully that helps. Again, if you lmk what in particular you like - I might have similar interests to recommend.
(the same goes for other members of the forums, if they visit this thread. You can also contribute, and I can also make recommendations to u)

This isn't really what he's asking, but there's some things that I feel might help.
Try to keep separate "zones" for different actions.
I know that sometimes people don't always have a lot of space for stuff like this, but it's less about the place, and more about your brain associating certain visuals with certain mindsets. For example, My room has a couch and a monitor hooked up to a console. When I'm trying to be productive I sit up at one end of the couch. When I'm relaxing, I sit on the floor with the couch to my back. When I'm sleeping, I use the whole couch. (+pillow & blanket). This may not work at first, but the more you stay with it, the better it works. (side note: if you can't work, it's fine to goof off in the relax zone for a bit)
Music/podcasts in the background is fine...
...to a certain extent. Generally, If you're paying more attention to something that isn't what you're trying to work on, turn it off or switch it. I love Rammstein, but German men screaming at me doesn't always help. You know what does help? Cgp grey. his voice very soothing and monotone and I just want to sleep But if I need to stay up, then I might switch over to something with a little more pep in it to keep me up.
I would give you a third one to balance out my message, but I don't have anything else, so I uh hope this helps I guess. bye.

The "zones" suggestions is a really good one. I've heard it before, and it seems to work.
Background audio (of whatever variety) can be distracting, but it can also help focus. It's kind of like fidget toys - some people use them well, others get distracted by their work to use them. Personally, I often list to an audiobook while I play video games. I manage to keep the story straight while not throwing the game.
Something I forgot to mention to Shruvvu:
This is a very common question asked to Google. When you search it, you obviously don't get great results.
Except one. Have you ever tried the Bored Button? It has some neat gimmicky stuff. You could spend anywhere from 10 minutes to 10 hours with it before it gets truly boring.
In a similar vein, I also recommend neal.fun - he rarely fails to make entertaining stuff on his website. It probably won't be interesting for too long, but it's a good "emergency fun supply" so to speak, LMAO!

Set a timer and do something like 15 minutes playing a game or watching youtube, and then 30 minutes fully focused doing the 'productive thing'. jot down how much time you spend on each in a notebook and try to get the 'productive things' as high as you can (works for me)

I don't know if he was looking for help being productive, just curing boredom.
I guess doing productive stuff can help resolve boredom, but often I find it just makes me more bored since it's what I'm trying to avoid anyway LMAO.
Also, instructions unclear. Accidentally spent 45 minutes doing the fun thing, and 0 minutes on the productive thing... Surely, there is a fault in your method and this is not a personal skill issue?

could you please explain what jot notes are?
I like to read, write, listening to music, making music, doing something interesting on my laptop or phone.

I don't prefer listening to any sort of audio while doing productive stuff, but while gaming I do listen to music it helps me focus in the game more.
I've never tried to bored button, I'll check it out now.
I used to visit neal.fun so many times in the past. Thanks for reminding me about that website again.

Yeah I tend to spend more time on breaks between doing something productive.
This would help me focus more on my work.

Jot notes just means simple notes. Jot literally means to write something quickly.
You might need to be a bit more specific. Reading, writing, and music are all fun and good but they are too broad for me to have a good chance at giving helpful advice. What kind of genres or styles do you like? Are there any specific tropes or themes you enjoy?
In terms of writing and making music, those are creative passions. I can't exactly offer media relating to that, since creativity comes from anywhere. I simply recommend reading or listening to music in order to get inspiration for writing or making music.
I actually often crawl wikis or consume other info-dense sources in order to search for ideas that I might want to write about. Listening to music can also help you write stories if the song gives a certain feeling or helps birth the initial conception of a narrative.

I love adventure novels. I also tried to write one, but it was way too long. The idea of that novel is still stuck in my head, but I'm way too confused about the direction of the storyline. I have like hundreds of ideas at once.
My choice for music is very broad, there isn't any specific genre I love.
I can tell you some of my favorite artists tho
Daft Punk, Justice, Gesaffelstein, L'impèratrice, kanYe West, Michael Jackson, The Weeknd, Nujabes and The Strokes.
As in creating music, right now my style is a mix of Human After All (by Daft Punk) and Yeezus (By kanYe West).
I also watch animes now
I watched Please Save My Earth (please don't watch this, read this bcz the anime lacks lots of context)
And I'm currently watching samurai champloo.
But everyone around me say that these are my last holidays, and thats true kinda. I'll be too busy in my work life after college.
So I'm thinking of doing something interesting rather than sitting at my home. Something that I'll remember for the rest of my life.

If you wanna do something memorable, you should probably get off the internet and go do something in the real world.
I'm not the kind of person who says digital stuff is 'totally fake and worthless' but I do think our brains are hardwired to remember certain kinds of activities more clearly than others. Needless to say, digital interactions are not in the former category, given that they are a recent development.
If you really want to make memories, you should do something really adventurous: Go to another country for tourism, go to a huge public event, or go try something like sky diving.
These kinds of things will definitely become memories, even if you don't have a particularly amazing experience. It's because they are so different from one's usual lifestyle that they will stick out.
---
Of course, you don't need to tell me that there are all kinds of issues with this. I know there are issues related to money, opportunity, personal wellbeing, safety and so on. Unfortunately, the world is unfair - so if you can't afford to do one or more of these things safely and don't feel willing to do so, you will never get to experience them.
Historically, most of humanity lived in the same community they were born in and died there without ever experiencing anything else. For some people, this would seem like a fine fate, but others would think of it as dreadful and horrible. It's a matter of perspective.
I think the clear answer is that it's only a bad thing if those people never had a chance to go beyond their ken. Which, sadly, they didn't. In fact, some people may have even wanted to without being able to. Not to mention the matter of informed consent. It's easy to be happy with something you don't really enjoy when you don't know of any better situations.
---
TL;DR - Touch grass, if you dare.

I mean something that is productive and just stops you from staring at a computer science could be learning a coding language and setting yourself different goals, I mean if you already know how to code, great make some B games, bgames are just games for the soul intention of having fun making them one of the most famous is sexy hiking which is what getting over it was based off, Or if you really uabe time make an actual game a full blown game, however it's hard because it has to be fun enough for
You the creator to enjoy, if you are able to play your game for around 10 hours it's probably fun and then post it somewhere and get replies and add stuff ig but that's just my opinion.

TL;DR - Touch grass, if you dare.
I'm planning a solo trip in june-july.
My college is starting from August.
So before that, I need to explore the world as much as I can.
You are right, we need to go out in the real world rather than being on the internet. I need to reduce my screen time. I try to do something different everyday now. Anything random. And because of these power outages in my neighborhood nowadays, I'm able to get off my phone.
and YES, I'LL TOUCH GRASS. KEEP WATCHING FROGGO.

that's a good idea. Also I've been planning to make a website like from the 2000s era. I miss them so much, I might create one myself.
i am not creating video games. I tried making one on my PC, but it's trash. Nothing runs on it. Maybe when I'll buy a new laptop, I can create light games like sexy hiking. I really loved that game.

coding
I'm pretty bad at coding, but I sort of understand how to use python (sort of**)
I normally use it to automate some tasks. I have one program I use surprisingly often, which is basically just a combination calculator but for words instead of numbers.
Basically, I put in two lists and get back a list with all combinations (not permutations, just combinations)
For ex. I could enter a list with "Cheese", "Ham", "Turkey" and a list with "on Bread", "on Ice Cream" and "on your face" and get back "Cheese on Bread", "Cheese on Ice Cream" ... "Turkey on your face"
~
I've tried making games in python but you need to install modules, and pygame is kind of shit.
Right now, I've half-abandoned a project which is basically like those custom MTG/yugioh/pokemon card creator generator websites, but for my own card game I've designed elsewhere. My goal is to have it be feature complete, so that I can input all the card data for any given card and get an image of that card back. It's not really functional, though and I probably don't care enough to ever finish it.
The card game is more of a worldbuilding thing and isn't really meant to be super playable, so I don't actually care about having proxies to print out or whatever. I just thought it would be neat to be able to see what my card designs look like in-universe.
