just make the LF thingy smaller, and with transparent background (somehow), so you can put the hat on it.

Edit: i modified the hat image so you can simply fill the background with white (or any color u like)

I don't have photo shop just good old paint so I can't do transparent backgrounds... and GIF doesn't like the color on the side bar.

Uhm... How does this work with animated gif?!...
I know how it could be done, but I can't do it...

Could you make an upper layer and put the hat above everything or so?!...
Open an animated gif by import>import frames to layers...

I did all my animating with flash, but flash isn't friends with quality nor is it with photoshop... I tried, but it didn't even look like a santa hat anymore...
