It's stainless steel, it's not made for killing, it's made for god damn display.
It's not a "real" katana, per say, but is a real sword.
And no, real katanas dont actually go for 500USD anymore, they're around 100 for a decent one... But for a sturdy, very good one, it can get expensive.

ah swords. you know, at the renassaince festival, if you know what to look for, you can really rip them off. some of the vendors dont realize what a few of their items are worth
