I haven't yet, but I was thinking of making a picture entirely out of caterpillars, because I like their sound effect.

(I don't like many of the sound effects, because they are creepy and make me feel uncomfortable)

Basically, nopaintings take creativity, smartness, efforts, hard work and persistence. They are not quick to make.
In my previous post, it was implied that you created a quite high quality artwork soon after you got introduced to NoPaint!
The following is me sharing my experience with nopaint and my ideas on it so far... your mileage may vary:

I disagree that nopaintings take creativity... I didn't have to do much thinking at all to create a nopainting, I just pressed a single button when it looked good... I wouldn't call that creativity.

I don't know what's smart about clicking a button either, IIRC they've trained birds and even rats to do it...

Efforts/hard work/persistence? No, not at all. It was probably the easiest and quickest thing I'd done all day

They are quick to make, though (at least for me)... I finished each of those images in less than three minutes, and at least one of those minutes was spent uploading them to this website...

To reiterate, this is not saying what I say above is true for everyone, I suppose some people may consider it a challenge to create a picture with this website, but for me it was greatly simple (once I figured out their layout with your help, of course. In my opinion, their site is horribly-designed)... I also suppose creativity could be involved a lot more than how I make mine, if somebody went in to making a nopainting with an inspired idea, that would be different than just choosing a boolean option between 'yah' and 'nah' until you're happy with the result.

honestly, the part that was most 'difficult' and 'creative' about creating a nopainting was thinking of the names for the images. That itself was still trivial, but it required slightly more thought.

If you decide to use the console a lot, and request specific brushes and their parameters, then NoPaint takes a lot of creativity and smartness. Because it is a matter of conscious choice to decide what exactly brush you will put and to deem what exactly will get painted.
That's a good point, using this method does require a lot more thought!
I am very experienced at this. I recommend you to learn from me, my friend.
Of course, sensei.

(sensei is a japanese word that I believe means 'tutor' or 'mentor')
