Re: The Crown
"So... what city do you belong to?" Carathras hoped it was not Arrike. That was where he came from. He waited for an answer. He opened up his map that he took and found the Troll's castle. "You want to come?"
Re: The Crown
Zenobia, but soon after I was born the town was destroyed and my family and I had to move to another town.(I am the Dalic)

Re: The Crown
Carathras laughed. "You really think you'll get the Crown? No one has since the First Age!" He looked at the Dalic. "And who art thou, Dalic? I thought your race hated war, and especially rogues." He spoke the last words with relish, for he was a rogue himself.
Re: The Crown
"It matters not, we can't find the Crown alone, you HAVE heard the myths, haven't you, rogue?" Yurad said as he cleaned his axe, making sure to chop the tree the rogue was in. Finally, after a good swipe with a cloth, he swung the axe at the tree. It fell down, rogue in it and everything.
Re: The Crown
Nanakri looked on from the other side of the wreckage, having arrived too late. She sighed and stood, moving through the destruction and carnage. The elf spotted another group, who seemed to have fought, and jogged over to them. She didn't bother to introduce herself and instead asked flatly, "Do either one of you know which way the trolls had come?" Her voice was twinged with an accent. (Very short, I'm tired >.<)

Re: The Crown
Carathras fell down, and thought to himself. It wouldn't be good if they found out who he really was. He had already messed with the elves, and he was to be killed for that. Great. And now one of them was here. They probably heard of him. Hell, there might still be trackers. He pulled out his map, and tossed it at the elf. "You probably know who I am already, so I'll just come out and say it. My name is Carathras, the Dalic who came this close to throwing an entire city into ruin. And joy, look! Now you know who I am. Still want me on your team?" Carathras waited for a response.
Re: The Crown
She looked at him incredulously. "Ok, first, I only asked for directions. Second, I don't care who the hell you are. A war is going on right now, if you haven't noticed. Now, did any of you see which way they went or am I wasting my time?" Nanakri glanced down at the map. It was nicely made, but did little to aid her. If she were to get back with news before nightfall, the elf was in poor shape.

Re: The Crown
Carathras pointed to the west. "That's the troll castle." He walked toward the trolls, turned into a cloud, and flew away.
Re: The Crown
She sighed to herself. "Mages. Always so flashy..." Nanakri shook her head and turned to the other two warriors. "Now, if a scout group from Karthira comes through, make sure that they send for reinforcements." With that, she began to walk away.

Re: The Crown
Carathras followed Nanakri. He decided that it was time for rain. He began raining on her parade (literally).
Re: The Crown
The elf looked up and growled, "Don't make me shoot you. I don't care how un-trollish you are." The rain didn't bother her; she had spent days in a downpour while tracking. It was the fact that the mage took an interest to follow her. Any other, and she could easily lose them. "In case you head is as thick as you make it, we're on the same damn side."

Re: The Crown
Carathras decided to float away. Five miles away. He could still see Nanakri. However, he decided to form back. Needed to release energy, and who knew where that would go. He concentrated, and a lightning bolt zapped him. He felt all his anger and hated release. The wind was blowing toward the trolls, so Carathras flew up and slept. However, he sent another cloud to alert him where Nanakri went. Maybe something interesting would happen.
Re: The Crown
The storm suddenly lifted, and she looked up to find clear skies. Nanakri frowned slightly, before wringing out her hair. Great; now she was late and wet. The elf picked up her pace, keeping just left of the road in case of enemy scouts.

Re: The Crown
Carathras saw Nanakri wring out her hair. He didn't really care much. That was, until she found out he was following him. Then he was in deep.
