OMG ZOMBIEZ!!!!

Relieved at the momentary reprieve in the zombie assault, and also joyed at the newly united group of survivors, heavily armed and prepared for survival, assdef hops into the back of the truck and takes position with the rifle facing the rear of the truck. "Ready back here!" he shouts to Klinscy as he finishes mounting the M60. Ready for what? Assdef wasn't quite sure. But whatever it was, those goddamn zombies didn't stand a chance against them. "Let's roll!" assdef shouted.

[Greyson]

"I hope the supermarket or where ever we were heading is safe... I could need some rest." Greyson said and noticed he was bleeding. He took a bandage out of his bag and started wraping it around the wound on his arm.

"What do you think guys? Is there any chance we can take a weekend off? I mean I'm fine with my 24/7 job of killing zombies but a few days off would be nice" he said in a joking way and laughed.

"You bring up a good point, Greyson," assdef responded. "I mean, not to wax philosophic about this, but Zombie apocalypses, by definition, last forever. Does that mean our fate--" assdef interrupted himself briefly as he quickly fired off a round from his rifle at a Z charging at the truck, and then continued "--is that of a lifetime of killing zombies? Surely someone somewhere must be working on a cure for whatever it is that is causing this zombification, right?"

And then it dawned on assdef, what if all the scientists were now zombies? What if the four of them in this truck was all that was left? 'Shit, that's no way to live for the rest of eternity!' assdef thought to himself.

"There's gotta be a lab or a factory or something that was Ground Zero for this whole catastrophe. We've got to think of a way to get back there and find out how we stop these zombies. That's the only way." Assdef realized that what made the survivors stronger than the zombies was the ability to plan ahead, and have an exit strategy. Being a novice at Zombie Apocalypse Survival Strategy, assdef hoped that Klinscy, John, or someone knew what they were doing or where they were going. All assdef knew was to aim for the head, smoke the stogie, and do his best to look like Hannibal Smith of the A-Team. And that wasn't going to get the group very far when it came to an exit strategy.

john listened to it all and started the truck and began shouting over the roar of the engine as they headed to the super market....."i dont know about staying in this city actually.....it was all fine and dandy when i was laying low and unseen in my store.....but the zombie infestation is very large here.....we will swing by the super market pick up anyone willing to come but i remember hearing over a broad cast on my ham radio in my store.........i asume it was someone driving through the city......though i never saw them.......they where talking about news of a collony of some sorts posting up at the mall in the town next over.......something about people had started gathering there since the out break.......not sure how they got their info......not sure about anything.....but i had said if i ever had a reason to leave that would be where i go......if you guys are claiming to be apart of my group now......then ill take you all along.....but ive decided to leave........im not staying in this city anymore......."

and at that they pulled up to the super market........john let the engine idle and said....."alright i need atleast one other person out here with me covering the truck.....the rest of you get in figure it out and get back out here......" he checked his watch...."you got no more than an hour to figure things out.....stay or go......this trucks gone after that".......and at that he opend the driver door with the window down and sat on the roof of the truck with his legs in the window holding the door open just in case he need in quick.......he positioned his M16 in his lap and started watching for zombies.......

Klinscy listens to everyone. He looks over to MTG09. They knew about the entire ground zero thing, the cure... He decided that he shouldn't mention it to Assdef and John quite yet. He hoped Greyson would keep it a secret too. They didn't really know the two newcomers, even though they seemed nice enough. Klin pulled out his MP5 and got out of the truck. "Lets go kill some ghouls," he says to the group of survivers.

Assdef followed Klinscy into the store. It was eerilie quiet inside. Only about half of the overhead fluorescent lights in the store were working, and several of the working ones flickered and buzzed, ready to burn out. The air in the Supermarket was stale. Flies had begun buzzing around the fruit which was slowly rotting away in the produce section. It was quite a different scene then what was normally seen in the usually bustling supermarket on a Saturday afternoon. Not a sign of life anywhere.

"Hello?" assdef called out. Suddenly, a rustling noise came from the back of the store. "Oh, shit..." assdef blurted as he cocked his rifle....

[Greyson]

Greyson heard a sound coming out of the store. He grabbed his G3 a rushed into the store and turned on the flashlight attached to the barrel. "Freeze! Who's there!?" He shouted and noticed that it was Jack. "I was worried, dude" Jack said and lowered his pistol. Greyson made a few steps towards him and asked "Where's Stanislav?" Jack turned around and said "We got separated..." Then he turned to assdef and said "It's okay. He's with us."

John continues to wait outside every now and again checking his watch........but so far the herd had moved on and the streets where still for the most part clear...

Assdef lowered his weapon. "Well welcome to the party, man," he said as he reached out to shake Jack's hand. "I'm Assdef, this is Klinscy. We just stopped off to see if there were any survivors left in here to join our little expedition. John's got the Jeep out front and hopefully has a plan as to where we're going to go. All I know is he wants out of the city, and I'm inclined to agree."

Assdef walked over to a display case grabbed a pack of cheap cigars. Lighting one up, he turned to Greyson and said, "This place looks pretty damn empty. We should probably grab some supplies and head back out to the truck. Anyone else we should be waiting for?" Assdef began perusing the market for sundries that might come in handy later.

[Greyson]

Greyson needed a second to think about leaving this place or waiting for others to join the group. Most likely he thought about what happened to Stanislav.
Jack went towards Greyson and said "Dude... I'm sorry but we have to leave. I'm sure he'll make it. He sure is somewhere safe by now." Then he turned to assdef and said "There should be some Ammo and stuff in the crate over there" and pointed at a small box in the corner of the room.
Greyson rubbed his neck and said "Grab what you need... We leave this place soon... You should join me once more my friend..." Jack was surprised "Whoa! I thought I already was invited to the team... Well, you can count on me. I got your back."

Greyson smiled and turned around "I'll be waiting at the truck. I'll see you both there." and left the room. Jack grabbed a M16 with scope that was standing in the corner next to the box and said "Hey assdef... We should take the box with us. Leaving it here wouldn't be ... wise. Could you lend me hand with that?"

Moving quietly through the allyways, Alex kept glancing over her sholder, aware of the still going moans. Armed with only a beginner's bow, a sheath of arrows, and a small hunting knife, she has been sticking to the shadows since the beginning of this mess. Alex kept thinking to herself, I need to get somewhere high. I need to get somewhere high. Glancing over her sholder again, she began scaleing a rusty ladder on the side of a store.

[Greyson]

Greyson and Jack grabbed their weapons parted from the group of survivors to "Find a purpose in this apocalypse."

"Yo Greyson! Where are we gonna go now?" Jack said. "Dunno yet... Maybe we should head to the last known location of Stanislav... I want to now if he survived... I lost more than enough people in all this." Greyson answered.

"Yeah... We should head to the church first... That's where I saw him last." Jack said and reloaded his pistol.
Greyson rubbed his neck and yawns. "I wonder if some of these hotels here are still somehow safe... I just wanna sleep in a comfy bed for a change."

They both continued their walk towards the church...

Stanislav wakes up covered in dust and blood. "W-what happened? Darnit..." He tried to get up but fell every time he tried...
"No!! God dammit! I HAVE to get up! Or else... I-i'm gonna... die." Tears ran down his face while crawling to a wall near him.

He picked up his Makarov and reloaded it... "These things may try to kill me but at least I will fight till the very end!"
He saw 4 zombies walking towards him from the east. "Come at me!" he yelled at the top of his voice and shot at them.

John was certain he would leave them if they took to long....but the longer he sat at the truck and thought about it....the more he realized he was tired of being alone....well there was always assdef but a group was nice....so when the time came he....he took a long breath and mumbled the word damn it and went inside to find them and figure out what was going on......he saw assdef struggling alone with a box of what looked like ammo....John was about to head over to help and ask him about the plan....but he saw Greyson hurrying off with some new fellow he looked around and was able to spot one or two of the group but they didnt look like much of a group now...everyone off doing their own thing.......he really hoped the plan wasnt to split up...because that was certainly not the best option currently......"Hey Greyson!"....john shouted and hurried over to the two men, "where you guys going?....whos your new friend?.....we need to figure something out and move as a unit...the last thing we should do when surrounded and deep in hostile territory is split up"....John stood with his hands on his hips and a stern look on his face....he came off a little blunt and short but he was a military man....so most people just excused it.

Greyson and Jack stopped as they heard John shouting after Greyson. "You know... I found many friends in the last months... and I mostly lost all of 'em.... One of them, Stanislav... I don't knew for that long... but we got separated earlier and I can't leave him just behind.... he must be somewhere to the church where we teamed up with you..." Greyson said.

"I'm Jack, by the way... Nice to meet you. It's always great to see someone who doesn't want the eat you, right." Jake said with a laughter.

John shook hands with the new fellow Jake, "its a pleasure to meet you and add someone to the team....so far you all seem trust worthy as well" he gave Jake a look over...."you all look sturdy and sane enough after all this time since the outbreak....but time will tell" John shrugs and looks back over at Assdef, still struggling with the crate. "ill certainly help save your friend but its been sometime since we last saw the church so we dont have any idea what has currently wandered over there.....i suggest we move at least as a squad of four split into two teams of two....we need to move fast.....now id prefer to approach on foot...do you guys feel like its close enough for you to arrive there timely and comfortably with out a vehicle?... if all goes like we plan we should be able to get there grab your friend and get out pretty quick......we will all move together and get back to the super market .....now i should have some walkies in the truck, a set of four.....they have range enough to cover the whole town.....ill have one and Greyson will have another...the other two we will leave here with someone at the base.....just in case we need them to come and grab us in the truck...i dont anticipate that happening but we should be prepared for all possible scenarios.....Assdef will be with me and Jake your with Greyson." He took a deep breath, "alright....lets move out." John sounded slightly excited....he began to head over to help Assdef and to tell him the news....it had been a good few years since he had been in the field......seen some action as it were....it felt great to have a mission and a team to work with again....he reached Assdef and grabbed the other sided of the crate and began to tell him of Greyson and Jakes friend at the church and his plan to rescue him......They passed Klinscy and john motioned for him to follow them to the truck.......

Been a while huh? Sorry busy with work.

Greyson took the walkie-talkie John gave him and put it in the radio pouch of his vest. "Thanks John. They'll come in handy if we get separated. For now... We should load our guns and head back to the church as fast as possible... Ya' know, the faster we're there the higher the chances... of... I don't even want to say it out loud."

"Do you think Stanislav is still fine?" Jake asked then while checking his pistol. Greyson turned to him and said "I hope so... even though he did look kind of like someone who wouldn't die so easily... We'll just have to wait for the others to get ready and then hurry to get him out of there. Dead or Alive doesn't matter... If he's alive then it's great. And if he died.... well. We should at least burn him or something." Then they both looked into Johns direction and saw him talking to assdef.

all of a sudden Assdef fell into the floor completely unconscious.............it didnt startle John....this was something Assdef did from time to time.....narcolepsy.....terrible disease......John set him comfortable in the corner and grabbed the crate by himself and carried it out to the truck.....and when he came back....klinscy was no where to be found and he didnt even take the extra walkie.......so John found some random guy who had been in this building for some time.....the mans name was Nadda Play Carehector.....everyone called him NPC for short.....he would now be the third man and the cavalry if needed..........John quickly found his way back to Greyson and Jake outside by the truck.....he grabbed a few bottles of water and his M16 and a satchel with 6 extra clips.....the plan was to head off in two teams.....but with Assdef fast asleep that ment John was going to be running solo.......not that he minded to much......"We ready to go save your friend." John asked matter of factly.

[Greyson]

"Yeah, we are." Greyson said and rubbed his neck, which he was doing quite often because he didn't knew what to do with his hands while talking.
"Uhm. Yeah.... We assume he is at the church. Where we were the other day... But we already mentioned that didn't we... So uhm... nevermind than." Jack said and stumbled over his own words.

"We'll be leaving now. At least if you are ready. If not, then... uhm... Hurry up. or somethin'..."
Greyson said then and loaded his gun.
