Here's my thing on double posting.

We don't let it exist because it helps prevent spam. There is always the edit button if you have more to type. It's not fair for your post count. Sure it really dont mean much but it's there to filter out the new and the frequent users. Look at cx and atom. They have massive post counts, and are active, not to mention helpful. Only active dedicated users get counts like that. If we allow double posting and such then that ability to tell is gone. And the ranks I made would be pretty pointless.
