Doesn't it affect when the year 1AD was?
Or did he live 2 years longer?

I have to say, in this whole religious debate, I like to consider myself as nearly agnostic. I agree that without the belief in a spiritual realm of some sort, you'd just be a mindless drone, because if you think about it, you're eating and sleeping so that you can eat and sleep some more... what's the point in that? I mean life is more complicated than that, yes, but it can and often does seem to be simplified to that, without spirituality.

However, I don't associate myself with any particular religions. I think any religion (except those like Scientology, which are nearly cults), is a good religion. Religion, in my own opinion, was created to give life meaning, to give people hope, and as a method of control. Some religions seem to be more overbearing, asking a lot out of their people. These religions are a little excessive in the control department, but still give the people hope, a greater purpose in life, and a set of moral codes to stand by, whenever the law seems unfair.

I personally like to believe in a spiritual realm of some sort, in which some sort of God resides. I don't believe in the events from the Christian Bible (the only bible I've read), but I do believe in the lessons they teach. So I guess what I'm saying is that yes, a lot of things in many different religions may be considered "ridiculous" or "pointless", but the idea behind religion is generally a good, healthy one.

Oh, and my birthday is November 17, 1992.
