SUCKS!

Stephenie Meyer is the most atrocious writer I have ever seen. I can't believe anyone would read her pile of what doesn't even deserved to be called crap.

I love vampires. This is not a vampire book.
Vampires burn if sun or crucifix touch their skin, not sparkle like a fairy.
Vampires only pretend to love to suck the life out of their victims.
Vampires are DEAD. DEAD. They can't have children.
It's bulls**t. Maybe I should write a book about a girl who falls in love with a rotting, flesh-eating zombie. It's the same thing.

I'm sorry but I have a deep respect for the traditional image of the vampire. This woman just trampled on that.

It seems like I'm the only one who doesn't like Twilight. Is there anyone here on ASDF that shares my feelings, or am I alone in this miserable world? Also, lovers of Twilight, feel free to share your opinions here.

Have you ever read the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter books? Now THERE is some good Vampire. Also, they can so fall in love! Its just dangerous. U__U

BUT THEY BURN LIKE CRISPY THINGS. BURRRRNNNNNNNNNNNN

Also, if you wrote a book about zombie romance...um..i'm pretty sure I would be in love with you. <3 zombies.

I wrote a comic strip once called Richard the vampire. he hunted dinosaurs for meat. I'll post it when I get the chance.

Yes, I love zombies more than vampires (My Aunt let me watch all of the George Romero Dead movies when I was 5 + All of the Evil Deads, loved them ever since.) but vampires are a close second.

Actually I was talking about the manga/anime, but they both rock. (not the Van Helsing movie, but the original Van Helsing in Dracula.)

I quite enjoyed the movie.

See, I am a werewolf lover first, Vampire lover second. I enjoy the modern gothic, romanticized vampire. You know, Anne Rice style. But I am always in love with werewolves. Being a fur, and everything, you know. Thats how I got into the furry fandom. ^^;

Haha so i have mixed feelings about twilight. I think the movie had horrible acting. Every conversation in the damn movie just felt so awkward. Also, the story was pretty cheezy. And yes, when whats-his-face stepped in the light I was taken aback when he didnt start to burn.

On the other hand, the young lady is totally my type and I think the actor is cute as shit.

So I still got some enjoyment out of the movie. And I hate to say it but im a sucker for romance bullshit so I ended up enjoying the movie despite its obvious suckfulness.

Never read the books. :/

Heard they were much better than the movie. But big surprise.

ok i'm glad this thread is about hating that movie because i hate it too even if i haven't seen/read it..

it's just so damn annoying that so many people are talking about it all the time, it's worse than the hype about harry potter.

i'm sick of hyped-up crap, and i don't even care if it's good or not.
