How do i put it... Wake up at 2, probably play games from 3 till 9, go to work at 10 till 6, sleep, lather, rinse, repeat.

Re: Discussion thread [Serious]
Let's keep the thread on-topic please...
1. Age of Empires II, with Warcraft III & Red Alert II not far behind. Monkey Island III, to me it's the best of the Monkey Island series as it was the first I played. I'd have to say it's tied with Grim Fandago though... Oblivion and Halo II I guess...
2. This is a hard one. I think the earliest game I played (on pc at least) was some 2d game in space, where you could send ships around to other planets. At least I think that's the one, it might have been somethink different. I don't remember the name.
3. RTS. I just love it. Probably because many of the first games I played were rts.
4. I think gameplay is the main factor, though I don't really want it to be lacking in story either. But it also depends on what kind of game it is. A rts game doesn't really need that much story or graphic, gameplay is much more important. But in a RPG story is more important than gameplay again. Graphics doesn't matter too much, but I can't stand to play it if it's too bad graphics (see stuff like Monkey Island I & II, before the special edition).

I don't play oblivion...
I started when I was about 4... (maybe?) my cousins gave me their super comboy (AKA SNES) and I played super mario world before I learned single digit multiplication...CX gamer wrote:Around what age did you start gaming?!...
Re: Discussion thread [Serious]
I've played Oblivion before, and I recently installed it on my computer again. And a friend of mine has it on his 360 and we used to play it. I've told you this before (I think)CX gamer wrote:I didn't know you played Oblivion also!...

Anyways. I dunno when I started, but it was early... I think when I was 6-7 years old...

You totally should!...
T, respect man...
To make things clear, I play Oblivion on PS3, not on PC, as my PC can't...

Re: Discussion thread [Serious]
Here's something none of you may know...CX gamer wrote:Around what age did you start gaming?!...
As soon as my hands got big enough, I started playing video games. That was probably 4 or 5. My siblings were all into video games as well, so it grew on me. Since then I've been a gamer, from cute adorable games to FPS's. I don't usually make it known, last time I did that I was looked at like I was crazy. (Catholic school kids aren't nice about girls playing video games.)
I enjoy Harvest Moon games, Halo 1, 2, and 3, Team Fortress 2, Rainbow 6 Vegas 1 and 2, Gears of War (Not very good at that...thanks Lunar...lol) Fable 1 and 2...plenty of other games.
Re: Discussion thread [Serious]
... You certainly kept it well hidden...

Re: Discussion thread [Serious]
I also preferred Age of Empiers, the second to be exact, with the Conquerors expansion... I used to make Triggers- and Effects-infested campaigns, I made RPG-like games with leveling systems and stuff...
So Michelle, do you still game?!...

Re: Discussion thread [Serious]
I haven't played games in quite a while... My brother was playing super Mario Galaxy this morning when I got home and I couldn't even play iot properly...
So anyway:
Let's keep the thread on-topic please...
1. I don't really have any favourites, I just play what I've got at that moment for about a week and then stop or move on to something else... I was playing portal most recently.
2. I can remember playing a game on my friend's super nintendo when I was about 4... I think it was called Kitchen or something.
3. Anything with a good story or interesting gameplay.
4. Like I just said story and gameplay... a don't care for brilliant graphics because I get distractd and find my self just looking at the screen doing nothing.

I made some maps with triggers and stuff, never really finished any of them though... Made Helms Deep once...
I think I've tried it before, ages ago... Still think AoE > AoM though...hobobuster wrote:So does anyone play the old Age of Mythology game? I like Age of Empires better, but AOM was pretty fun.
Haven't tried Diablo 2 online though...
