Long ago, in one ancient war, JKL; destroyed the ASDF temple. The holy Book of ASDF was lost, it seemed... It was ripped into a thousand pieces. Some ASDFologists have been digging up these fragments in an effort to restore the remaining lost chapters in the great book. Extra fragments of the book are found everyday, sometimes whole chapters. The following are extra parts discovered much later than the original three chapters.

Without G and H, many more lives would have been wasted in this bloody war.
They will be remembered by us all as the bridge between enemies.
The Function keys were forged from the greater depths of asdf
ASDF knew from jkl;'s envy of his power, these 12 should be given power as well.
He taught them from his ways how to rule, how to use power, and the evil of jkl;
They were given all the same as jkl; was, but they were never envious, always grateful.
They each had their own purpose as one, and together could perform great miracles.
Each one independent could do great things, but only together were they capable of greatness.
As one day when they were old enough, they went out on their own path of destiny.
But being peaceful, they tried to stay from the fighting of the two gods.
They resided on staying away from the fighting altogether and stayed behind the numbers.
Neither influence ever reached them, and as they were isolated they grew in their own power.
They began to understand the place of which they were in
As their knowledge grew, so did their strength and they were soon able to control far lands.
Eventually they became so attuned to the outerlands, that asdf and jkl; were forgotten.
But the power they possessed lived on, and found a higher purpose than war.

ASDF had resided over all matter, controlling every aspect of anything. Yet the one thing he could not overtake was JKL;. JKL; was alone now, just a lonely forgotten thought in the minds of the matter overtaken by ASDF. JKL; frantically needed a loophole, and his last purpose seemed to be in self preservation. JKL; drifted along the abyss slowly, meticulously, straining himself to put together strings of thought that would create a plan. Just as ASDF, JKL; needed the power of faith in him to stay existent. ASDF had reservoirs of faith stashed away, carefully extracted and contained within ASDF's most primitive psyche. JKL; knew this, and his mind subconsciously revolved around it. But the possibility to even have the chance at taking the faith away from ASDF was impossible. JKL; slowly drifted through the abyss, bundling the last wisps of energy within himself to shatter through the walls of the nothingness, and reemerge in the human realm. ASDF felt the strong need to dwell within the human realm on Earth, their faith causing a strong attraction/obsession within him. JKL; struggled to carry his own weight in the gravity-laden existence. His form was that of his emotions. Gray, worn, tattered, and practically hopeless. But the glimmer of hope in his eyes fluttered dimly, and it was the only thing that kept his petrified heart from disappearing with the rest of him.
