And just what do you mean by "real" artist? An artist can be many things.
To some people an ms paint artist is a real artist.

insult? you need a tiny bit of sense of humour. (Now there's an insult.)
seriously, there are many levels of art, and some of them incorporate some humor, even self-irony, or just mocking/parody of some types of art, there is nothing wrong with that. Even if you were an avant-garde painter who paints huge empty squares, you shouldn't be offended by parody. And if you're not a painter like that, then it's quite far from "insulting" you, considering it's mocking a whole different form and style of art then the one you do.

He's not mocking you lunar. Neither is Xequos, nor anyone else here. I respect actual art, and I do draw when I can. I do call myself an artist, even if only a very fail one. But there is nothing wrong with a little joke. He's not calling it proper art, nor are any of us taking it as proper art, but there's nothing wrong with a little of a laugh and something new to talk about for a couple of days. Perhaps you do need to lighten up a little bit.

i like to think of art as a very loose term anything can be art as long as it evokes some sort of emotion from the audience for example :
