- Pronouns: Well it shouldn't really be that complicated if you go over my post history but then... why are you searching through my post history? Don't you think you are over complicating something as simple as just referring to me? Why are you like this? Is it just out of boredom? Does your religion require it? You could just assume them and skip all this paragraph, don't worry an eldritch horror won't appear out of nowhere to eat you (or me for that matter) if you get this wrong, the worst that can happen is I ignore you and even in that case you can try again! There shouldn't be that many options anyway so if you get it wrong the first time try again and again. Bottom line is: you just lost a bunch of time reading this paragraph for something as trivial as figuring out how to refer to me when you could just have deduced it which should make you think your life choices so far.

Okay vraiment, here are a list of the negative factors of cannibas:
nothing. i mean seriously how does me smoking weed with my friends and having a good time tearing a country apart? You must understand that prohibition is the only thing that makes it bad. The thing tearing your country apart is not weed, its the criminal orginazations that try to make a profit off of it. Just because it says somewhere on a peice of paper that somethings wrong, doesnt make it wrong.

You people wanna smoke weed, that's great. But other people I know smoke it, and I've tried to tell them not too, they've said the exact same as you. But then they go and smoke it and their absolute assholes and I don't talk to them for ages and it makes me sad because they're really good friends of mine.

Re: PS3 vs Xbox 360 (vs Nintendo Wii)
I know some guys who smoke weed. they're decent people.
although I will say that although I am not opposed to people smoking weed in general, I will say that I am opposed to people who try to force this on others, especially if other people aren't mature enough to really handle mind-altering substances. Also, I admit, I have been curious about this, but I decided that right now is not the time to be experimenting with drugs.

Re: Weed
Why worry about weed, which is not a terribly bad thing (especially when done right), when there's cigarettes to deal with. Pot (weed, whatever) doesn't do as much damage to a person as cigarettes do. Weed? IT COMES FROM THE GROUND!!! Are carrots illegal? No. Is broccolli illegal? Also no. So why is weed illegal? For silly reasons (and the fact that, by what I've heard, it can be used for a lot of things, including fuel, which, when done on a massive scale, can distrupt the economy...).I mean, IT'S A PLANT THAT COMES STRAIGHT FROM THE GROUND!! What about cigarettes? Where does it come from? What does it go through? Is is natural? I believe the answer to the last question is NO! Cigarettes cause health problems, including lung cancer. Weed? No. My dad is an asthmatic (AFAIK) and, yet, he smokes pot a lot of the time. He's done it for ages and, yet, the only problems to arise is some monetary problems (not much) and problems cause by other things, NOT WEED! And let me tell you something. The worst thing about cigarettes is, despite their causing of health problems, THEY ARE PERFECTLY LEGAL! Why fight against a plant from the ground WHICH IS NATURAL, I might add, when we should be fighting the wands of death? And Reathos? I say 'Kudos to you'. Weed may be outlawed (for ridiculous reason (and some politicians use it!(saw it in a doco my dad was watching))) but you smoke it anyway, knowing it has NO MAJOR HEALTH IMPACTS and that IT COMES FROM NATURE! Everyone else fighting it? I say 'Boo to you'. Cigarettes are the danger, not weed. I do agree with other people on the fact that people trying to force smoking onto other are scumbags. I may think weed is perfectly alright but people can't simply alter someone elses will or they are being cruel (as they wind up taking their freedom).

Re: PS3 vs Xbox 360 (vs Nintendo Wii)
You know, you guys are right about at least one thing: Just because something is legal doesn't make it good for you.
So I don't smoke. And I don't drink. And I don't do weed because, while marijuana may not have major physical health ramifications, it won't benefit me at all to smoke it, so I'll err toward obeying the law. And although it may not have major physical health ramifications, it does alter one's state of mind, and I would like to be thinking as clearly as I can at all times, thank you very much.
Poison ivy is natural and comes out of the ground, too. It doesn't mean that I'm going to smoke it.
And just to keep this post on topic, I would get a Nintendo Wii first, because I'm a fan of the Nintendo classics, and I like what they did with their system. Then I would get a PS3, because several friends of mine have stated that it's a better Blueray player than dedicated Blueray players. It can even do 3D Bluerays.
And I would never get an XBox of any variety, because the games that really shine on it (that other systems don't have) are mostly first-person shooters. And I don't generally like first-person shooters.

Re: PS3 vs Xbox 360 (vs Nintendo Wii)
My breakdown on the whole PS vs Xbox vs Nintendo thing:
PS3 can (can but hasn't shown so much) pull of some amazing graphics and has bluray which can mean HD movies and bigger disc space
Xbox 360 is a good value system which, when you have the right updates, can be a multi-enertainment system, being able to play movies, music, show off pictures and there are games for everyone to enjoy (even if some aren't that great)
Nintendo Wii just simply has a larger catalog of games that average people would play. I'm unsure about it playing movies, It might be able to play music and show pictures (there is an SD card slot) and the graphics aren't that great. The gameplay, thought, is revolutionary, meaning that, rather that pressing buttons all the time, you actually move, even if only a little.
Overall:
PS3 for hardcore gamers
Xbox 360 for Semi-gamers and media people
Wii for family gamers

Re: PS3 vs Xbox 360 (vs Nintendo Wii)
Any of these systems can stream Netflix, so as long as you have them hooked up to your TV, you can do movies on any of them.
I wouldn't be playing many games on the PS3. I would get a few that I think I would like, and I'd start buying Bluray instead of DVDs.
I can play music on any number of devices, and I can get a relatively inexpensive digital picture frame for my photos. (Though I admit the Kinect looks a bit intriguing)
The Nintendo Wii also gives you access to several classic Nintendo games through their online store. Some of these games defined video gaming, or at least popularized it. It also has several games that are fun, even addicting, in their own right.
I currently don't have the funds to buy any of these systems. But I still rank them:

Re: PS3 vs Xbox 360 (vs Nintendo Wii)
So I think the fallacy is judging someone based solely on one action they take. Not all weed smokers are assholes, and not all straight-edge people are nice.
I used to think that life was a series of experiences, but I think it's more accurate to say that life is a series of choices that you make, and you should make those choices based on your own system of values. But to impose your own system of values on other people seems pointless because the only choices you truly have control over are your own, and trying to influence other's choices seems like a waste of time to me.
That is, of course, unless you are a ThingerPal, in which case you blindly follow the teachings and actions of the great and powerful ThingerDudes, because it is as true now as it was when it was first written. Praise be to Thinger. Amen.

Re: PS3 vs Xbox 360 (vs Nintendo Wii)
allow me to drive a point. Go out, look up ALL of the games that are EXCLUSIVE to the PS3 and 360, then list them here. Then pick out the games you own for either system. Then pick out the ones you'd get for the other. You'll find the list to be either A small or B not that impressive, especially by comparison. The only thing I find I can compare by the two is their online experience. And the 360 has PS3 there, it's generally more stable and the online ability with others exists, eg party chat etc. I'm not saying ps3 isn't worth it, I'm just saying they are essentially the same, just one has better internet. Pick which one you think is shinier except the wii because you can't compare it (as in I like the wii but it doesn't fit here), and just go with that. Thank you and good night.

Re: PS3 vs Xbox 360 (vs Nintendo Wii)
I think the XBox's large playerbase (possibly because of its cheaper price tag) is confused with online quality. Not to mention I've heard that the playerbase is about as nice as that image board who shall not be named's random board's. Also you have to pay for it. I may be wrong, etc.
Also, you shouldn't choose it just because of exclusives. The PS3's extra processing power gives it the edge on multi-platform games, which are the majority. I've heard complaints of Oblivion bugs, spontaneous freezing, loading pauses while exploring, and long loading screens, and I never had those on the PS3. The drawing distance and graphics details are higher on the ps3 too.
It felt epic to watch Panau island while hanging from a helicopter in Just Cause 2, because the visuals were amazing, and I don't know if the XBox would be able to match the textures, lighting and drawing distance...
