Claire nodded. "I think we have enough firewood for now," she said, gesturing at the wreckage of the boat. "Unless you know how to fix this thing. I don't think most of the wood will be any good for repairs." She looked around for the things she'd had on the boat, and found her tools and clay. They may come in handy, if they ended up being here for any length of time.

Johnathan turned from the older man for a moment. "We could rig up the sail to catch rainwater, too, if we can find a barrel or something to store it in. Anyone care to look while I keep patching this guy up?"

Razakan said that could work it depends how old the boat is if it was made in the last 100 years or so it will have chemecals we dont want to burn in it

Kao's legs were beggining to wake up. He was getting better on his feet. This was a good sign. He walks over to the other people having a discussion. He says, "I can help find food, I'm pretty good at tracking."

Firerider stands up and sees a substantially sized group of people. He groans, and moves toward them. " Hey guys, I'm Firerider. Nice to meets you." He paces around, examining the situation. A few people were hurt, one man was slicing up a sail, and there was an old guy who was only more or less on his feet. "So... What, exactly, are we going to do about this here problem?" Suddenly, he hears a small crack.It was a few seconds before he realized what was making the sound. " Oh..." He almost fell down, wincing. His left leg was bruised quite a bit, and when he looked down it was bleeding. " Could I have a little help here?"

Razakan seeing the injure runs over to the ship grabs a pice of wood cuts a pice of sail loose and make a splint "here use this to soak up the blood" and firereader a pice of cloth

Claire eyed the old man who had been under the sail with her. "Um... do you think he's... dead?" she asked. He didn't seem to be moving, or doing, well, anything.

The ninja kid seemed to be taking pretty good care of the kid with the yo-yo, so John turned his attention back to the girl.

"I'm no doctor, so I can't really declare him dead. I think the best that we can do for now is get him in the shade. We don't even have drinking water right now, and we'll need it. Can you help me gently move him to some shade?"

He then turned toward Kao. "Kao, if you're okay to go in search of food, we could use it. While you're at it, if you find a stream or some other fresh water source, remember where it is so we can all move closer to it to get shelter. Take the ninja kid with you." Then, after a thought, "The kid with the yo-yo should probably stay here. That leg doesn't look too good."

"Ok then. 'Ninja Kid', lets go." Kao, regardless of whether Rakazan in following or not, begins to looks for tracks, which would show that there is animal life on this island. And if there are, they need water, fresh water. Put two and two together.

"Thanks." Firerider limps around with his newly patched leg. He gathers some sand. "Alright now.We are inside an emergency situation. We need to find food, water, and shelter." He stabs a small stick in the pile of sand. "For now, we need water. Benben's on that. Second of all, food. I can see that some people are on that situation. But about shelter? I'll go look." He starts off, then pauses. "Oh, and Benben? If you find a fresh water source, you can use some of my pipes to get it over to our base. I think I also have a pump or two..." He fusses around with the bag of items. " Yup. Use it wisely."

"Maybe if we put the old man on a piece of sail he'd be easier to move? We could just drag it," she suggested to the young man. The young man seemed nice, she wasn't sure about the ninja kid, and the guy with the injured leg and the other guy seemed to know what they were doing. She figured she'd let them figure out the food and water situation while they figured out if the old guy was even alive--or could be kept that way.

"That's a good idea. Could you help me push him onto this bit of sail here? We'll take him over to the shade of those trees over there for now." With a bit of effort, the two got the older man under the trees, where at least the sun wouldn't beat on him as harshly. They would need to wait for the others to get back with food, and hopefully water, before they could really do much else for him. He seemed to be breathing for now, but he hadn't moved other than that since he had called for help.

John offered the girl his hand. "The name's John. Nice to meet you. It would have been nicer to meet you if it hadn't been after two disasters resulting in us being stranded on an island."

While everyone was figuring things out, Kao began to wander around looking for animal tracks. As he continued he found a jungle type thing. This was interesting. He was running back to tell the other, but tripped and hit his head on a rock in the ground. I didn't do too much damage, but it did knock him out.

Claire shook John's hand. "I'm Claire. Nice to meet you--though you're right. Who'd think we'd get into a bus wreck, be rescued by a boat, then get stranded here?"

"i did" said razakan "oh got to go catch up with kao" this water should be good to drink we can filter it with the sail if we need to dig a trench let the water evaporate into the sail drink from the wet cloth

Kao woke up again. I've got to stop doing this, he thought. as he woke up, he could see Rakazan in the distance. He ran up to him and said, "Hey, I found this forest type thing, wanna come investigate?"
