Re: three-dimensional logic and the philosophy of idealism
It's not "I think, then I exist" or "I exist, then I think." It's "I know that I exist because I think." If you didn't think, you may very well exist, but you couldn't prove it (I guess if you don't think, you couldn't even want to prove it).
So therefore, because you think, you know that you exist in some way, shape or form. Everything else that you perceive as existing is a matter of faith to varying degrees.

- Pronouns: Well it shouldn't really be that complicated if you go over my post history but then... why are you searching through my post history? Don't you think you are over complicating something as simple as just referring to me? Why are you like this? Is it just out of boredom? Does your religion require it? You could just assume them and skip all this paragraph, don't worry an eldritch horror won't appear out of nowhere to eat you (or me for that matter) if you get this wrong, the worst that can happen is I ignore you and even in that case you can try again! There shouldn't be that many options anyway so if you get it wrong the first time try again and again. Bottom line is: you just lost a bunch of time reading this paragraph for something as trivial as figuring out how to refer to me when you could just have deduced it which should make you think your life choices so far.

Ok, now I understand... I agree with that, still I don't think that Descartes wanted to say that, but I haven't read him so I'll STFU.
Re: three-dimensional logic and the philosophy of idealism
I've been thinking that a mind doesn't have to exist physically, but it has to have a host, or a body... the body has no real connection to the mind, but it supplies the means of experiencing and manipulating the external world or rather the illusion of the external world.
in a way, from the perspective of another, the body is only part of the illusion - they are just as real as anything else in the world, no? I see them sort of as a symbol of a persons mind and how they are experiencing the external world.
but maybe bodies have their disadvantages as well... if minds don't have to exist physically, then their means or natural communication must not be physical either. bodies hold back telekinetic impulses so the mind used language instead of raw thought to communicate...
does that make sense?

THAT'S IT. THIS HAS CARRIED ON FAR TOO LONG. YOU'RE GONNA GET IT NOW!!
Rene Descartes walks into a bar. He sits at the bar and orders a martini. He drinks it. He orders another, and drinks that. He orders a third martini, and drinks that. The bartender asks him, "Mr. Descartes, do you want a forth martini?"
Descartes says, "I think not."
And then he disappeared.
TAKE THAT. HA!

I believe this is all relative really. Do you exist really? or are you there because I exist? or vice versa? Nobody truly knows until they exist no longer. However, if they do not exist, they do not know, because they cannot think. Therefore, the mystery of our existance shall never be truly solved.

Re: three-dimensional logic and the philosophy of idealism
Honestly, I think people try to hard to complicate things, and over-explain things that just don't need it. I just think that everything does exist, it's just the individuals perception of it, and the individual's definition of 'exist', and even 'think'. You can say that like, that wall may or may not exist, but we don't really know, but because the wall isn't self aware, it doesn't exist in its own right, but we know we exist because we can each think. The way I see it though, there are more different ways of thinking than the way humans think. Just because something doesn't have a brain, and can physically aknowledge its own existance, doesn't mean it doesn't exist, or that it can't think. Take the jellyfish. It doesn't physically think, yet it can still manage to maneuvre around the oceans, and knowing what its prey is, and to chase those, and knowing what its predators are, and avoid those. While it doesn't physically think with a brain in the same way we do, it still thinks.
Idk if I'm explaining it right.
