yeh i've been writing lousy wiki pages nowadays, some are really cheap, some i've just started, a little towards quantity instead of quality but meh, better than nothing. It would be cool if people would sometimes write articles on there, no pressure, just a new one every now and then.

I was going to add some of the active users' names to the Users category page, but edit option only had one paragraph in it, and I couldn't immediately figure out how to edit the list of users.

but imo, that personal appeal thingy is just as bad as a regular advertisement bar, except the latter would actually help them make money.

Hmm. Given that Wikipedia is at the will of its authors, and any idiot could post whatever s/he wanted, is it really a good place to do research?

I just use the sources they cited instead of the article itself.
