i have never heard of such a thing, and i'm disappointed they don't provide any free sample of what they offer. This way it seems a little like a scam.. (meh, they even have sounds for weight loss, wtfbbq?)
anyhow, i'll stick to music thank you very much. It has proven to work perfectly, while not only entertaining me and stimulating my brain, but reaching to my soul, too.

It does seem odd. I know that some music can be relaxing, but I also know that people have different tastes in music, so different music (and I'm extending that to different sounds) can cause different reactions for different people.

Well that's debatable because there is a major difference between music and sound.

Here I want you to try an experiment, if you have some kind of piano around play let's say an A. (If you don't have a piano, pretend). You should hear a kind of wobbly sound. This is because the 3 strings which are being hit are tuned slightly different. One is probably at 220 revs. a minute while another one of the strings is slightly different say 221 revs a minute. If you can isolate what this "difference" in sounds you can actually make yourself fall asleep. If you let your brain adjust to this difference in sound you can slowly move the notes down the staff from A, to G, to F, etc. once you get low enough you actually will fall asleep and if you begin raising the notes you will wake up. Its actually quite interesting.
