A stranger who had not given José a Poptart had just referred to him by name, even though he did not know anyone. This scared José, so he held the shiny thing close and shied away, trying to hide behind the slowly growing pile of driftwood.

Tom noticed the boy he had given a poptart had his name written on his shirt. His name was José. He walked up to José and saw he had something shiny. "What do you have?" Tom asked.

José did not have his name written on his shirt ((come on, guys, you can't just up and decide what someone else's char is wearing...)), but he may have talked to some of the kids back on the boat. Right now he was getting so much attention that all of that didn't matter, though.

He grinned. Sure, it was a scary situation, but what 5-year-old doesn't love getting attention.

José proudly held out both hands, palms up, to show off his treasure. It was a compass, probably from the ship. It probably wouldn't be very useful to them on the island, but José still thought it was cool.

The Rat looked at the kids looking at the compass.

"It's a compass guys!! That arrow points towards food!"

Rat then grabbed the compass and started following the arrow, disappearing behind some rocks on the beach.

After a minute or so Rat's voice called out saying "Wow!!"

José was shocked by someone stealing his treasure, but the shock quickly subsided after that same person shouted. It sounded like adventure, so he followed.

Rat was staring a cluster of viines around an ancient stone door. As children closed in howver, they noticed he was looking at a spider making a web.

"I've never seen one making a web before!!"

Just as other children were beginning to notice the spider, Rat picked it up and ate the spider with a curious look on his face.

Oliver wasn't watching the spider, he was looking at the stone door. He notivd a circular opening on the door. He snatched the compass, and jammed it in the hole. The door creaked, opening half an inch. Oliver tuen pushed it the rest of the way open. "Wow..." he says as he sees the room inside.

(Rattrap, you get to describe since you thought of the door)

Ratt swallowed the spider and looked into the room. It was about the width of a football field. Vines covered almost every inch of the walls. In the center there was a stream that glistened from the sunlight shining through the top of the cave ceiling. A few small animals were crawling around inside and Ratt could see fish in the stream. At the far end at the exit of the water there was a log. Ratt ran and exclamed:

"I found some wood, it's not driftwood but we can use it!!"

On the way to the log, Ratt tripped over a protruding object. It looked like a pedestal with an opening.

"What's this?"

The room is a hallway going down with several of the mysterious pedestals protruding from the floor. The walls are covered in pictures of gruesome spear fights.

Sam walked behind the kids. She wasn't much of a talker, though she had guts. The kids' names were very unusual to her. Who named their child Waffles or Rat? Sam found the boys to be very weird. Out of everyone, she was the only female. "What are the odds that we would find an unusual cave in the woods? So large, at that! I don't think it's a good idea to go in there, guys."

"I agree. This is creepy." He begins to walk out of the cave. "I'm going to look for food."

Name: Alex
Age: 13
Whats in my bag: A beginners bow and 5 arrows from the camp I was returning from, with two waters and a journal.

Alex stared at her new soroundings as she struggled to get up. She was behind a clump of ferns where she guessed she had landed. Landed? I dont remember anything after leaving camp. She pushed herself up to a standing position, sucking in air through gritted teeth. A pain seared her side. This is just perfect. She grabbed a few leaves from the ferns to cover up the small bloddy gash in her side, most likely caused by a flying peice of metal. Sighing, Alex moved deeper into this unknown world.
Don't judge me, and you will live to see the next second.

Did you know, every sixty seconds in Africa..... a minute passes.

Name: PandaBunny
Age: 7
What's in my bag: some cookies, fruit snacks, and a juice box

PandaBunny walked out of the forest, dazed. She had landed there during the wreck and got knocked put, but was woken up when she heard voices. "uuuhm... hi..." She was very shy but still craved at least a little company.

Name: John
Age: 13 1/2
What's In My Bag?: A few Reese's, some skittles, some artillery shells, and a weak BB gun. (with 500 rounds)

Budd avoided going with groups, he couldn't manage stuff with 50 other people. He needed to be in charge of himself. He took his BB gun out of his bag, he snuck it out of the house, wait, he didn't ever really remember leaving, must just be his ADHD kicking in. They seemed to be gathering around a temple, he knew what to do, he needed that temple more than them. He grabbed the artilery shells out of his backpack, he also didn't know he put those in there. He set them up, and got his glasses. He was wearing contacts, he used his glasses as a magnifying glass, he lit a stick on fire, or at least hot enough to light the fuses. They fired on the temple, setting some vines on fire. Now he just had to wait and watch the fireworks. (see what i did there?)
