yeah, and I click the exact same folder and nothin shows up.

Have you tried opening the last project? Just because it loads the workspace doesn't mean it opens the project.

I used Eclipse when learning the bit of php we learned at school. I can't remember much of it, but i do remember getting annoyed by the project browser/workplace/etc thingy several times.

You could just use something else. I'm using it because it has support when it comes to Android development.

try https://kodingen.com/ for example, if you don't mind your code being ethereal in the cloud. Or you didn't mean python/perl/php? for java, there is netbeans as an alternative, but i don't like that either..

For Python I just use the included IDLE. For a lot of things I just use Notepad++.

I'll have to try koding. It looks like a worthwhile experience.

I think that Netbeans can do more than just Java with plugins.

Notepad++ is too happy and colourful. Coding should be a TORTURE and a PAIN!@!@!

If you want pain in coding, code in assembly, in a hex editor. You can make exe's directly.

I don't need those exe's. I like jars and pycs better. Nobody trusts exes anymore
