Guess who's back

Post by MTG09 » Wed Mar 28, 2012 10:21 pm

If you guessed MTG09, you were correct. If you guessed otherwise, either you are new, or you're to lazy to look at the MTG09 under the topic title.
I have been missing for a combination of two reasons:
1. I was looking for a good proxy, See this
2. I was trying, and failing, to improve my grades to make my mom trust me and unblock asdf.
I have found a great proxy site that emails me when they have a new proxy site running. If you are interested it is Peace Fire

oh hai!
glad you could make it.
i still think your issue should be more of a family issue than a technical one. i mean, children and their parents should talk every once in a while about stuff, especially stuff like restraints. But it's none of my business..

You'd think that, but my mom can be...a little ridiculous sometimes.

It's not like her kid does anything to damage her trust like use proxies to go against her wishes or anything like that, right?

As I understand it, because your grades were slipping and she wanted to get rid of the distraction.

And you're the one that circumvented that block. Which, if she finds out, isn't exactly going to inspire trust.

No, son--I'll tell you a story from waaaay back when, about the great libraries of the olden days.
Once upon a time there was a magical thing called a book. It was made out of paper, which had words on it. Crazy, right?
These books would be packed full of history, literature, and many things to learn. Before we had the Internet, people had to go to the library and read books to get information! Isn't that insane?

I remember books... I had to use one back in grade school.

Ah, the good ol' days...

I've heard good things about it. It's fantasy, if I remember correctly.

Here's the Wiki article: LINK

it's nothing like the cliché fantasy stuff, though. At least from what I gather from the show. It's pretty diversified and complex and whatnots.

I'm sure I'll end up reading them eventually.

If you like your fantasy to not be cliche, try Brandon Sanderson. His Mistborn books are amazing.

Worse yet, have you heard of a card catalog?
