Tape them together and advertise the conglomerate as a one of a kind mutant rat that's good for the environment and save you money in the long run. Once the mutant has gained enough popularity to give it greater perceived value than actual value sell it to a wealthy investor and/or a larger rival one of a kind mutant animal that wants to keep hold on its monopoly. Afterwards, invest the newly acquired sum into another rat-based contraption. Note however, that the new item should be similar to the older, more familiar product, as the audience will have greater familiarity with the rat, but different enough so that the rat v.2 may be perceived as an improvement upon the beloved mutant rat classic, that met its untimely end at the hands of an evil corporate empire. Continue this process in a similar fashion until enough wealth has been accumulated to directly combat the said evil empire and take its place as the dominant mutant rat business, while maintaining good public relations.
