We have a 6 slot toaster. It's especially useful when... actually I don't know why we have it, I can't possibly need that many bagels at once.

Wikipedia does have a sort of checks and balances system going on. It's not perfect, but it is a good place to get a general knowledge of some things. And you can check the references. Sometimes those link to trustworthy sources of information.
