It wasn't booting up. My friend who gave it to me took it to the Geek Squad (Yeah, I know, they don't always know what they're doing), and they couldn't get it to work. He gave it to me and said that if I could get it to work, I could keep it.

So now I have a reanimated zombie laptop. :)
