Re: The Great Collision
Maniel lowered his hood and revealed his face and said "We must have made too much noise... If we stay here longer assassins or bounty hunters will find us. Or... well... They'll find me. And I want to avoid that at all costs. We've been attracting many people..."
He stopped and rubbed his neck "The goverment of my world offers 1.000.000 Zeyer, that's the currency there, for the one who brings me back... Dead or alive doesn't matter to them. And before you think about bringing me back to them... It's most likely a trap. They won't give you the money... they'll rather kill you as well." Then he turned around and said "Name's Maniel, newcomer. Hope we'll get along well."
"We should leave soon." he said and crossed his arms.

"I never thought that I would be associating myself with wanted men. How recent events have changed things..." Stings said, mostly to himself. He turned to Abexil. As the member of this "group" that he had met first, he trusted Abexil's judgement slightly more than the other members. "I think that Maniel is right. We should get moving. What say you?"

"I agree. We might as well while its daylight out. In my world at night, creatures of darkness crawl out of their caves to ambush travelers. I don't know how your worlds are but in mine, the night and the open road do not make a pleasent mix for people like ourselves." Klinscy begins walking along the path, geaturing for people to follow.

Re: The Great Collision
"The night always has been my guardian since the beginning... But if we get ambushed by wild creatures... We would make too much noise again..." Maniel said and began to follow Klinscy.
"Oh and it's not that I'm a bad guy or something but... Well, taking revenge appears to be a crime and killing the Commander of the Army, too. I wanted to help my people but they suffer more tham they did before..." He scratched his head and said "The sun should begin to set soon... Let's get going."

"Yes that sounds best... I've heard stories of these things called "wolves". They're said to come out at nightfall and hunt for prey, silently stalking them until the time is right, then they all attack at once, overwhelming the prey. Reminds me far too much of my time as a blade for hire." Helio paused, he knew next to nothing about foreign beasts, just crazy rumors told by some of his former friends. He had no idea what other creatures roamed this place, but did not want to find out.

Re: The Great Collision
(or atleast wait for Abexil lol sorry guys....no internet at the house again im now having to go to the library)
Abexil just watched and listened as everyone said their peace......so far everyone seemed to be getting along......with a group this size....and so newly assembled......he expected their to be some in fighting........but so far so good, "alright.....i dont care about what your pasts may have held.....who may be after you.....what you may or may not have done or been apart of.......as of right now all i know is.....all of you.....are going to be apart of my new group of adventurers......and any judgment i lay on all of you will solely be based on what you do and how you carry yourself from this point on......in this world money what ever form it may have where your from, has no value anymore.......like i had said before......and from what ive gathered about most of you.....we are all just looking for a purpose in this new world.......and as for night and day.......hah my entire life was lived under the sea......i have no real concept of night or day......but i will tell you i have no problem seeing in either......now" Abexil turned and watched as Klinscy began making his way down the path......."he seems to have the right idea....we need to start moving.....and i agree.....if you had been told people where gathering in the north east its more of a direction than i had before.......if we are finally all in agreement......let us head on before anyone else less friendly wanders upon us".............
and at that Abexil started off......moving through the woods at a decent speed.......one he was sure everyone could keep up with......with all their unique powers and abilities and even a few wild weapons of choice.......he felt a little more confident in his journey now.......things where about to change......of that he was certain.

((Fade to black. Next time on The Great Collision... ))
Abexil's pace was fast. Too fast for Stings as he was now. Luckily, his partially shifted form did grant him some speed and endurance, so he shifted and began jogging to keep up. It was good to have a purpose, even one so nebulous as "adventure". He allowed himself a mental smile - his form didn't allow for a physical one. With all of the conflict he had seen after the Collide, Stings was both surprised and amazed at how quickly this group had come together. Still, with how openly they talked about their shady pasts, his optimism was a cautious one. There might come a time when one, or some, of them would turn on the rest. Stings vowed to not let his guard down until everyone had truly earned his trust.

Klinscy looks back at Abexil, Stings, Maniel, And Helio. They are smart to have followed me, he thinks. He was glad they were getting moving.
(( Iknow it's good to wait for ppl, but some may never look at this RP again. I think we should leave and when they region the action again they were following us quietly from a distance ))

((But then you have the problem of them having to read through a ton of posts to get caught up, which may discourage them from playing. I know we can't wait forever, but the creator of this RP has said that we should wait for others, though that comment seems to have been edited out.))
Stings switched from a jog to a brisk walk. The walking gave him time to think, and right now he was thinking that things seemed to have gone so well today that it couldn't last. Something was bound to happen.

Maniel accompanied the others on their walk. "It's getting colder. The shadows are getting longer. It'll be night soon. I hope we wake it out in time. At least I hope we don't have to travel through the forest at night. It's really beautiful during daytime... but at night it's just dangerous."
Maniel puts his hood back on and continued following the others.

Re: The Great Collision
As if on que, the forest abruptly ends in a small, ruined village. Skeletons knawed to the bone litter the streets. Roamin around are twisted, demonic things that look like 5 foot high wolves with no skin. Klinscy draws his swords and takes a defensive stance in preparation for the things to charge. The demon dogs begin approaching and snarling...

Re: The Great Collision
As the wolves approached, Stings heard a cacophony of unintelligible voices in his head. He paused, and shifted into full scorpion a few paces away from the rest of the group. In a full form now, he could hear the voices more clearly. They still didn't make any sense, didn't seem to form any complete thoughts, but a strong sensation of pain was conveyed through the whole group. That Stings could make out their communicated thoughts could only mean that these monsters were some sort of shapeshifters. Perhaps he could communicate with them.
"Brothers, please let us pass," he thought toward them. They perked up, sensing something in their minds. They snarled, turning their heads in Stings's direction, but couldn't make him out because of his small shape.
"Well, that didn't work, he thought, this time silently. He could think of nothing else to do at the moment but stay. Enraged and in pain as they were, Stings didn't dare give them a sudden target.

Re: The Great Collision
"Darnit" Maniel thought and tried to figure out a plan to end this battle before it could begin.
He made a few steps forward and said "Looks like the glorious town that I heard of was completely destroyed. And now we could end up as food for demonic skeleton wolves."
He drew his daggers and continued speaking. "Let me handle this ones, okay? I could manage to defeat them without killing them... And if not I might need your help because if I fail to freeze them I'll need some time to recover because I have to use some of the water that my body contains since there are no rivers or other sources of water around here..."
Then he makes one more step towards the wolves and says "Give me a sign and I'll freeze them. Or at least I'll try to do so. But if you have a better idea or something we should probably try that."

Re: The Great Collision
Abexil took in the situation......it was sad the worlds had come to this.....after all those years of war his people had finally found peace in their underwater existence.....and not even over 10 years of it before it was thrust into oblivion on the day of the great collision............this new world was filled with so much violence and destruction............and to think.....this whole town.....where people had gathered for a new beginning........slaughtered and demolished by these..........creatures......Abexils face grew stern and serious........anyone looking could tell he was taking this situation harder than the rest......."alright....your confident in your powers?.....and your ability to stop these monstrosities?”.......Abexil reached in his bag and pulled out a large flask....he was saving it for when his rifle needed to be recharged, but Abexil wanted to see this man in action, he tossed him the flask, “There.....use that water.....if you don’t need to use all of it then give it back to me when you’re done im sure this will be more effective than the water found in your blood stream.........and im curious to see what powers you bring to the table Maniel.”……his voice serious and a slight hint of what could only be interpreted as hate......hate for what has happened here......and a hate for these creatures of chaos......he took a step back, motioning for everyone else to give Maniel space..........and watched.

Klinscy looked at the two, trusting on magical abilities. The last time he had trusted anyone's abilities created through the force of the Æther, a few of his friends had died. Klinscy drew his swords just in case.

Re: The Great Collision
"Well then... Leave it to me." Maniel said and smiled at the group. Then he opened the flask Abexil gave him and poured some of the water inside of it on the ground. Then he closed the flask again and gave it back to Abexil.
Maniel laughed and said "I'll show you my true power!" Just after he said it his mechanical arms began to rotate and his hands began to glow in an ice-blue color, just like his eyes.
The water on the ground had frozen and the air-temperature fell. Maniel hit his fists into the ice in front of him and pillars of ice build up around him. Then he pointed his hands towards the enemy and the pillars scattered in thousand small pieces, flying towards the wolves and surrounding them. As soon as they reached them, the pieces exploded, covering the wolves under a quickly expanding ice layer, making them unable to move.
Maniel fell on his knees, because of his exhaustion, and said "Hehe... That was fun... But that should've done it. We won... I guess."

Re: The Great Collision
Abexil put the flask in his bag and watched and smiled, after the deed was done he walked over to Maniel and patted him on the shoulder, "good work.......my only question is are they dead.....or do we shatter the ice to kill them.........i don’t want these creatures having a place in this new world......i know what my mission is now.....to bring an end to the chaos, to destroy the beings that seek to continue it, and protect the ones who only wish to continue an existence in this new world.” His tone of voice and appearance had changed......darker maybe.....you could tell Abexils outlook since everyone’s first meeting had changed. “lets search this town......perhaps there are survivors......stay sharp.....im sure there are more of these beings and I want them all destroyed,” once again his voice so serious.....you could tell Abexil would not rest till this atrocity was set right and those responsible where punished..........After the frozen creatures where dealt with he continued into the town taking lead his rifle held out in front of him.....confident in his strength alone to be all he needed......the building where set on fire, most of them just smoldering now......so many bodies everywhere.....all of them you could tell had once been nothing more than food for those creatures.......Abexil passed many of the buildings that where nothing more than rubble but every now and then he would see a building still standing and went to search it....calling out for survivors.........it wasn’t long till their presence was known and more of those weird demonic dogs appeared.....Abexil smiled.....excited to have his chance to kill them their where four in front of him blocking the road.....more on the roofs of buildings and sneaking around the piles of rubble.......they where out numbered but if they all had powers like his and Maniels he did not fear them.......he pointed his rifle but decided against it......using his hands would be more fun.....he positioned his rifle on his back and looked at them all....making them aware that he sees them.....with a loud roar of a battle call he charged the building to his left, with such grace he crawled and flipped to the roof and all in one motion launched himself at a pair of them on the roof taking them to the ground on the other side.
(i purposely left the searching the town section post vague so if you want to find something or even find survivors or whatever feel free to come up with whatever you want......i just felt like moving the story a bit....and getting to another battle phase!...alright guys have fun hope your enjoying this story )

Re: The Great Collision
Maniel crushed the wolves he froze before. "No evil shall escape our sight. Track them down and eliminate them. I'll be heading to the tavern in the north-east. We should meet up there when we are finished here. I-i mean because it seems like it's the only building that isn't completely destroyed ... I mean... it still has a roof. So we could stay dry if it starts raining."
After saying that Maniel left the others and went towards the big building in the north-east. On his way there he was attacked by several wolves but he defeated them easily with his two hidden daggers. It looked more like he was dancing then actually fighting against them.
When he reached the tavern he hesitated to open the door. He had to admit that he was scared of what could be inside of it. Probably just more corpses. But he couldn't stand the sight of dead women... or children. He kicked the door open and was surprised as he saw that it was ... empty. Just dust and alcohol. And the usual furniture of a tavern. Mostly chairs and tables and candles. He lit a few candles, grabbed a bottle of wine, opened it at drank. He had to calm down, because he felt like his blood was boiling since he froze the wolves.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~New Character ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Personal Backstory:
~~~Ignore if don't like reading~~~
Louis is a special treant (rather short), he(she?it?) has no memory of the past, he stayed like a normal tree for over hundreds of years, until one day a traveller discovered the forest he is in and a village is built. After the villagers discovering the special uses of his leaves, they revolved their town around him. Through years of experience, Louis gradually learns about the world, but he doesn't want to scare the villagers, so he pretends to be just a "normal" tree. ...Until the Great Collision, after the collision, monsters invaded his village. Due to insufficient experience in moving, he watched as the villagers all got killed while the monsters left unharmed. In rage and agony, he discovers a new ability - the ability to create treant soldiers. Using the new found ability, he set a trap in the ruin of the village and starts killing all living creature that enters. This ended when a big monster led an army of armed creatures and destroyed all his treant soldiers. Louis immediately started running away, but he was too slow, the monsters were catching up. He quickly made a bold decision, he sacrificed his former body leaving it as a decoy and shrinks down in size. He ran away while the monsters attacked the decoy.
~~~End Ignore if ignored~~~
Louis is hurt, weak, and lost, after finally finding a new village, he avoided all the monsters (too small), ran into the tavern (cleaned the corpses) and is currently hiding behind the door - frightened of the sudden intrusion. Louis curls up in a ball.
Current thought: GO AWAY! Go away plz... T.T
