Arisa looked at the man and, though still on guard, shook his hand. Trying to somehow make conversation, she said, "I never caught your name."

Jürgen let go of her hand and said," my name is Jürgen... Jürgen tesla. I suppose I am the cook for our little ensemble. vinter, lets leave them to discuss matters while we go retrieve your belongings near the outskirts of town. it is probably from now on a good idea that we never go anywhere alone."

With a brisk nod, Vinter turned and began to step away from the others. He'd much rather retrieve his belongings sooner instead of later. "Just follow me, then. We won't be gone long. Meet back here shortly." He glanced at Talasadar and Arisa for confirmation or acknowledgment, though his animal companion was already shuffling down the road towards the hidden cache of supplies.

Jürgen followed victor to the edge of town, the night wasn't upon them yet. Jürgen felt the cold creep up even though the sun was still out, and he wanted to quickly setup camp and get a move on. just how far and well hidden did victor hide his equipment in the woods?

Talasadar could tell this girl was hiding something, but what he did not know. Talasadar was not afraid of her but more for his companions, while he was sure they all could fend for them selves, a they are still human. Talasadar turned to arisa and said," I need to know who is in my group, tell me why you have truly sought me. just know that you are no exception, I will talk to everyone and what you disclose will kept in silence."

After a few minutes of quiet trekking, Vinter spotted the tree with the mark he had left in the bark; a thin, horizontal slash carved with his dagger. "Here we are." He grabbed a hold of a low-hanging branch and hoisted himself up, planting one foot in the crook of the limb and reaching up for the next. He smoothly scaled to the top, until his body was all but concealed by the leaves. After a moment, he dropped from above and landed on his hands and knees, springing back up with a grin on his face. A brown leather pack was slung around his back, large, but not too large. He traveled light, it seemed. "One more thing, now..." He withdrew a compass from a pouch on his bag and took a moment to orient himself. Turning on his heel, he carefully counted out a certain number of paces in a certain direction, until satisfied. Taking a knee, he brushed away dirt and leaves that blended in naturally to the forest floor. As he dug deeper, his fingers struck their target, uncovering a long, steel sword nestled comfortably in its sheath. The young man rose to his feet, grasping the weapon reverently. He fastened the guard belt around his waist and let the blade hang at his left, reaching across with his right hand to pull it out slightly, making sure all was intact. With a brisk nod at his companion, he signaled he was ready to proceed.
((I'll write out Xierra's battle another time.

Arisa's eyes flashed in surprise. How could he know? Looking as if to make sure the other two men have gone, Arisa reluctantly answered him. "When I was little, my tribe was burned to the ground. I don't know who did it, but the man you're looking for is as good as any reason to get even." She hesitated, and in a smaller voice, continued, "My sister was killed by one of the raiders. I want revenge and I don't care who on." Seeming to recover, and most likely embarrassed about what she had disclosed, Arisa glared at Talasadar. "If you say any of this to anyone, I will hit you so hard you will be out for a decade."

Jürgen was not sure what he just witnessed, it all just seemed so overly complicated. if someone had stole victor's compass, or forgot the steps or direction from the tree, victor's supplies would be lost. Jürgen said to victor, "if this is all then lets hurry back." Just then the dog started to growl a warning towards down wind from where the camp was. Two men were walking upon victor and Jürgen rather nonchalantly. they were cloaked like everyone around here, the first was regular sized as but the second was just as tall and broad as Jürgen himself. the small one said in an authoritative tone, "subject 35, return at once. this little adventure has gone on far enough.(pointing at victor) you, lay woodsman, leave us be." Jürgen yells, "I'm not going back to gander to as a slave!" the small man said mockingly "have it your way, subject 9, take him back in a bodybag if you have to. I have other matters to attend to." the small man starts to mumble while walking away, then seemingly starts to blend in with the background. subject 9 removes his cloak revealing an older man in possibly 60's with long scraggly white hair, well built and no shirt with the same innumerable tattoos like Jürgen but different at the same time and a large old scar on the side of his forehead. Jürgen like always looked into the mans eyes to read the other person. Jürgen was to see nothing but an emptiness there, not the hollow look of victor but that of someone with out thought. taking the scar into account, Jürgen understood immediately. subject 9 put both hands behind his back and pulled out a dark grey knuckleduster for each hand. Jürgen said to victor, "It would be okay for you to run away, but I would appreciate you staying. you might need to know something's. this man has been lobotomized and those daggers are made of magic forged tungsten, so try to dodge instead of blocking. one last thing, he has some sort of rune protection, so aim for the eyes if you can."

..................................................................................................................................

Talasadar said to arisa, "I will take that into acount, though I apreciate your honesty. I have decided that we will stay the night and head out in the morning, I will go make the arangments with kreato inside." Talasadar disapears into the dark world. just as Talasadar leaves arisa's sight, 4 men walk from around the builing. the one in front smelled heavly of liqor when he spoke, " so your family died eh? well me an' meh frenz will be yor family, stop hagin wit that freakshow. will show you a really good time to niht." he trys to hid the axe behind his back as he moves closer and the other to move to flank.

(Meeehhhhhhh my first fight xD) Arisa immediately tensed. She knew she had a chance against two of them, but not four, and not in a camp area. She tried to think quickly. If she could get the men to follow her out of the gate, the forest surrounding would give her a distinct advantage. Arisa also tried to take in account their weapons. Most of the men seemed drunk and completely off balance. (If you don't mind I'll play the men.) She suddenly snapped to a conclusion. It was a morph she had never tried before, but it would do the job. Arisa smirked while slowly backing towards the exit, which was a few yards away, while avoiding the attempt to box her in. "Sure. But you gotta catch me first." With that, she turned on her heel and, leaping over the fence, vanished into the dark. Behind her, Arisa could hear the heavy footsteps and clank of weapons behind her. Not wanting to lose them, she waited in a moonlit clearing and pretended to back into a tree, exhausted.
```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
"Well, luks like we caught ya." The man who spoke before stepped forward on drunken feet. His ax was thrown over his shoulder, blade facing the girl. The other three men with him spread out to block her from running of again. He grinned, a wild smirk. " Why don't you sit down a while. I'll buy you a couple drinks." Each word dripped with contempt.
```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
Arisa returned the smirk. Her eyes hardened and she threw off the air of defeat. "Do you still want to take me home?" She lunged forward, and when Arisa hit the ground, she had for wicked claws, fangs the size of a finger, and jet black stripes along her body. She let out the tiger's roar, feeling its power course through her. The three men who minutes ago surrounded her raced off into the forest. But the first was only slightly phased. He dropped his ax and, from a hilt Arisa had not seen, drew a gleaming sword. The tiger's nose picked up his reeking breath as he moved closer. Arisa tilted the tiger's head, as if it were a dog. The man paused for a split second, but that was all Arisa needed. She leaped in the air, fast as lightning, and slashed her claws across the man's arm. Howling in pain, he dropped his sword and clutched his arm. Eyes wide, he slowly backed away then raced off. The tiger's instinct to chase wounded prey was strong, but Arisa held it back. Instead, she headed along the tree line, hoping get get time to think. What she didn't plan on, however, was to stumble upon Talasadar's two companions, face to face with an old man in need of a bath. ( If you don't want me in the fight I will just watch.)

jurgen was simply unsure of what to do, subjects back at the lab were not allowed to fight each other. the cost of one of them dieing for training was to high. subjects to begin with died on a high basis. jurgen never finished his training and this one, subject 9 is old enough to have been in the last war and who knows what the council did to his mind. jurgen not seeing any other weapons hunkers forward, ready to pounce. doubting that there would be any way to talk with the other subject, and even then to reason out with him not to fight is out of the question. there is only one way to fight this subject 9, and that's to kill. jurgen steps toward #9. feeling that he may have to initiate is take by surprise as #9 spears jurgen in the midsection into a tree which immediately breaks and splinters......... the tumbling motion ends with#9 on top... #9 throws a quik jab in jurgens right side with the sound of breaking ribs.. jurgen wraps up #9 left hand with his right.. #9 gives a heavy headbut to jurgen disorienting him and #9 throws an over hand right stab with the other knife.. strickly out of reflexes, jurgen throws his left arm in defence and takes the blade in the middle of his forearm with three inches of the blade sticking out the other end... jurgen released the left arm and used his right hand to grab the #9'sw right wrist... jurgen raised his right foot and kicked #9 in the shoulder, dislocating the wrist, elbow and shoulder.. the a sharp pain enterd the right side of jurgens chest into the live,. jurgen clamped down with his hand back to the same position, nd with desperation jurgen yelled "HELP!!!"
.........
#9 has minor spell resist and oak skin. :)

WHERE THE CRAP IS JOHN?!?!?!?!))

Arisa stood still, trying to take in the battle. Finally, she realized two of the men were Talasadar's companions. She then gaped at the third. Old but surprisingly strong, the man was attacking-Jurgen, was it?-with deadly strikes. Arisa thought quickly. She felt the tiger's urge to race and finish off Jurgen, and it took most of her concentration to keep the tiger's instincts at bay. She focused on Jurgen's opponent. He and Jurgen were in close combat, and her she instantly knew her tiger and wolf morph would be no good. She considered her owl, but the light was too intense for the owl's eyes. She had one other choice, but again, she had never used it. Her tail and neck instantly grew longer. Fur retreated and skin became covered in armor. The tiger's head flattened and took a resemblance to a heart. Eyes became mere vertical slits, and teeth melted into two deadly fangs. Finally, the death adder's instincts emerged. Heat radiated form the two men, and from Vinter a few feet away. She slowly slid through the grass, careful to look like she had no purpose. The man made the fatal mistake of writing her off as barely a threat. She raised her head and judged her strike carefully. If she missed, Jurgen could be dead in hours. Arisa felt the death adder want to retreat from the seemingly giant men, and she forced it to hold it's ground. Right as the men broke apart for a split second, she attacked. Fangs sank into hard flesh, and though the puncture wasn't deep, she pumped all the venom she could into the wound. As quickly as she striked, Arisa whipped around and disappeared into the thick grass. (Btw Death Adder venom paralyzes everything it can get to... including lungs and eventually the heart. It can be treated but you need to get the anti venom in less than ten minutes. MUAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA xD))

With the second man still visible, watching his companion in terror; a flash of radiating heat flew between both men, pushing the feral tiger back from the antagonizing bite. The man that had been bitten; burned, scarred; lay writhing on the ground while his companion, realizing that he was now outnumbered, was seen trying to flee. Naryl had shot a burst of ice, encompassing the man, rooting him to the spot. Slowly, yet steadily, with a cloak waving behind him, walked over to the man. Naryl, with his shoulder length hair, which covered one eye, looked around at his surroundings. Naryl, seeing the tiger still visible, and the other man pleading for survival, asked in a cool and sophisticated manner, "Whom am I to save?"

Jürgen was lying on the ground, bleeding to death from the knife in his ribs and the knife in his forearm. #9 was bit by a deadly snake, and some stranger starts throwing elemental magic indiscriminately. Jürgen thought to himself that he should have just stayed a cook. Jürgen spoke to the new wizard, “it’s hard to save anyone when you just hit anybody with fire and ice”. Jürgen figured that he wouldn’t bleed out if he could rest for a minute. Jürgen was never afraid of wizards, but he would bleed to death before he could kill him if it required him to become extra active. Jürgen said, “why have you chosen to interfere with our business? I asked for the assistance of my companions which you are not. Why freeze a man who does not fight and hit a man with flames who is bound to death by poison?”
