The Daily Thread
Re: The Daily Thread
Responsibilities? That's otterly ridiculous.
Re: The Daily Thread
Today I was at a job interview. I hate job interviews.

Re: The Daily Thread
Not great, but that's fine. Got a message that I'm invited to a second interview for another job, so hopefully that will go well.

Re: The Daily Thread
I hate applications more than interviews for jobs. I don't know why I bothered writing a CV since every employer seems to want its entire contents written up separately in a website application.

Re: The Daily Thread
I'm lucky in that I have my SO to help me with the applications, because I suck at them.
In other news I had to do a test where I invited a bunch of first year students and let them solve assignments. A total of 3 people showed up.
Ain't that the truth.

Re: The Daily Thread
What kind of test? And what kind of assignments?

Re: The Daily Thread
Assignments I had made that were exam related. The test was basically them solving the assignments and answering a couple of surveys along the way.

- Pronouns: Well it shouldn't really be that complicated if you go over my post history but then... why are you searching through my post history? Don't you think you are over complicating something as simple as just referring to me? Why are you like this? Is it just out of boredom? Does your religion require it? You could just assume them and skip all this paragraph, don't worry an eldritch horror won't appear out of nowhere to eat you (or me for that matter) if you get this wrong, the worst that can happen is I ignore you and even in that case you can try again! There shouldn't be that many options anyway so if you get it wrong the first time try again and again. Bottom line is: you just lost a bunch of time reading this paragraph for something as trivial as figuring out how to refer to me when you could just have deduced it which should make you think your life choices so far.

Another job interview. This time I think it went better this time.

What's the issue? I find setting concrete goals helps a lot when trying to work towards something. Making them really specific too.
Or it could be this advice is totally unnecessary and it's something else entirely that you are struggling with.

I wouldn't even know where to begin. I don't have the time or energy to work towards anything.
