The only double post I'll allow.
Because it's both a wholesome and scary statement
Life in a nutshell most likely

Didn't get to talk to Nessie.Froggychum wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 9:17 amNice! Did you get a chance to talk with ol' Nessie? She won't return my calls about the $3.50 she owes me.Today I'm home. Came home yesterday from a 2 week vacation at our cabin. It was nice.
Not nice! (except for going to the beach or a swimming pool, I guess)It's hot now.
How are you feeling about windows 10?I'm vaccinated (1st shot).
And soon, she will be all grown up and trying to be a YouTuber instead of getting a real career! Hurray!Tomorrow we're celebrating my daugthers 8th birthday. Time flies. And walks. And crawls.
No, but it drinks our tears.Does it also swim?
Hot is nice when I'm having vacation and can go to the beach, not when I have to sit inside and work.
Windows 10 is great, but have you heard about Windows 11? It's going to be the greatest OS there ever was! Check it out now by googling Windows 11!
Yes. Or an author as she says she wants to be.
My precious tears...
I know, time goes by so freaking quick.
Yes.

Re: The Daily Thread
The amount of time I have watched youtube when it could be better in some ways for me to perform other activities is at least six seconds

Re: The Daily Thread
Reviving the daily thread with this post.
As of writing this, i am sitting in an airport lobby, waiting for my first ever flight on an airplane.
I suppose it's about time, given that i work in aviation.
Can't help but feel a bit anxious about it all, but I'd say that's the beauty of new experiences, right?
Makes you feel alive, sort of.
I'll see you around ASDF!

Re: The Daily Thread
Oh wow. I'm guessing you've flown on helicopters before, then?
Anyhow, have a safe flight and have fun. I hope you don't have allergies or anything that clogs up the nose because that can be terrible when descending.

Re: The Daily Thread
Pray that there isn't any infants on your flight. That is a terrible experience for everyone involved.
Edit: Oh also good luck! Don't become a castaway; but if you do, make sure you look really good without a shirt on and then bring your story to Hollywood when you get back o7

Re: The Daily Thread
Well I sat in a few, but sadly no flying with a helicopter. The ones I work with aren't really designed to carry additional personnel, so the chances of that happening at work are rather slim.atomtengeralattjaro wrote: ↑Fri Aug 20, 2021 1:06 pmOh wow. No allergies tho, so that's nice!
There were infants, but I was too busy staying calm to be bothered by that.Froggychum wrote: ↑Fri Aug 20, 2021 6:31 pmPray that there isn't any infants on your flight. That is a terrible experience for everyone involved.

I'd say i look alright without a shirt. Not like e.g. Ryan Gosling or anything, but pretty alright for your average human being.
A bit of a gut but still athletic, y'know.
Then again, no flying over open waters, so the chances of becoming a castaway were pretty slim to begin with.

FALSE. The stuff isn't around the water. The water is around the stuff.atomtengeralattjaro wrote: ↑Sun Aug 22, 2021 1:39 pmfun fact: all open waters are really closed waters because there is stuff around them

Re: The Daily Thread
From what I know the Arctic is just a sheet of ice, unlike the Antarctic (or Antarctica) is a solid landmass.
So technically you, as a submarine, would be able to dive through the arctic belt, which in turn means that if the water isn't fully enclosed by landmass, then the landmasses are enclosed by water. +1 for open waters.
Edit: thanks for coming to my TED talk.
Re: The Daily Thread
Lately I've experienced a ton of emotions and grown a shit ton. My partner and I decided to take a break. It's been a rough week since then, but the goal is that we're going to be happy, the both of us. For her it's figuring out if she still has those feelings for me, how it's going to be living alone, and dealing with her issues. For me it's going to be working on myself.
This week has allowed me to discover who I can talk to properly, which I'm so happy about. I have been leaning way to much on my girlfriend to be the one I talk to about everything. It's been really nice to be open with my feelings with other people as well.
There's a lot to be done, cause almost 11 years of being and living together means there's much to separate. And we of course have a kid together, so we're figuring out that as well. But we really care for each other even if we're not "together", and we work really well together, so it shouldn't be an issue.
I'm of course hoping that she still has those feelings, only that they're burried deep down (and these things go up and down), but either way I think we'll both be happier. And should she still have them, we of course have to take things slow, figuring it out as we go.
It'll be hard to deal with all the emotions, all the anxiety and stuff, but I'm better today. I know that I have people I can lean on, talk to, that have my back no matter what. And I know that I'm a good person and a good boyfriend, which is something I was having issues with earlier.
So that's new.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
