No, I wouldn't press the button. I couldn't stand being so close to understanding the hidden meaning behind something but not getting it. I'd lose it.

Now, every light that you ever pass in traffic will be a green light, but your car won't have a radio and it's manual with a clunky clutch pedal.

I don't drive (yet), but I would definitely make that trade pre-emptively.

I've listened to at least five pop songs from the 2010s before, so right away that's a more expansive catalogue than the least awful radio station.

If by manual you mean the car instruction manual, I don't think anybody reads those and if they do I still wouldn't read it and instead unload AK-47 rounds into it as anyone who has ever suffered IKEA furniture-building before would do.

I don't know what a clutch pedal is, so that's the real risk lmao.

Yes! In real life I always wear the most comfortable clothes, even if I do not think they look very good. This is because I value my own comfort more than how other people judge me based on what I am wearing.

If you press the button the rat from Ratatouille shows up and cooks you dinner, but he takes control of your body and compels you to give up your job to cook professionally in a restaurant.

No. I value freedom slightly more than good food and a well-paying, enjoyable job (not being sarcastic, they're legitimately close in my list of priorities). if i knew i could trust Remy to look out for my best interests, than i would press for sure.



You can use any ability from fiction at any time, but only if you can first endure an amount of pain with severity relative to the potency of the ability.
(super strength would be like getting beat up to death's door, fire manipulation would be like 3rd degree burns, and reality warping would be indescripably terrible beyond anything any human has ever experienced)
